time and talents.”
Daun Layman says,
“Without a doubt
Linda is an exemplary
greeter. She is averag-
ing 50-60 hours per
month, plus she designs
and prints many of our
beautiful greeting cards.
She is both dedicated
and creative!
When we began the
new greeter position 18
months ago, Linda
stepped right up and has
faithfully served since.
Thanks Linda, for mak-
ing Hospice shine!”
Becki Steiner, Team
Assistant at Sylvia and
Estelle’s, has nominated
Linda Miller as the
January Featured Volun-
teer.
She says, “Linda is very
personable and helpful to
staff & visitors
alike. She devotes seven
hours of her time on
Tuesdays and Fridays
each week to assist with
incoming calls and help
visitors locate their loved
ones.
I have observed her chat-
ting with visitors and
making them feel
welcome. Her pleasant
manner is very calming
to those who are
grieving, as well as to
the House staff.
She also enjoys crochet-
ing and many of the staff
have been gifted with
her handiwork! We are
so appreciative of her
Accent Medical will
open a full line medical
equipment and supply
store in The Villages in
spring 2017. Located at
920 Bichara Blvd in La
Plaza Grande South, we
will be close to Winn
Dixie, Ace Hardware
and next door to GNC.
We hope to announce the
Grand Opening date dur-
ing the next month.
Mike Ratner states,
“From BioFreeze to
beds, we’ve got you cov-
ered. From bath safety
rails to walker or wheel-
chairs, our inventory will
meet your needs. Be-
cause our store is “cash
and carry,” there is no
insurance paperwork;
meaning we can offer
you lower prices. We
also provide free home
delivery on large items.”
Volunteers will be need-
ed to assist staff with
stocking, customer ser-
vice, and cashiering.
