Many thanks to all those who supported the sale with donations and purchases. We celebrate with Ely Maria Bulnes who wrote one of the winning essays in a contest sponsored by the North Louisiana Jewish Federation. Congratulations Ely Maria!

Welcome to Elsie Butler who joined Kings Highway Christian Church by transfer of mem-bership at our 9:15 service this last Sunday. Elsie transferred her membership from Broadmoor Christian Church. Message from Property Committee Chairman

“I would like to thank all of those who participated in the beautification project this past Saturday. We had a great turnout and accomplished a lot. To look at it now as compared to what was there you will see a big difference. There is still more to do and with that I have tentatively scheduled another work day for June 4th. Same time same schedule. That should be the last one. We will post this in the coming newsletters as a reminder. I would also like to thank Bobby Shields, Renee Eakin, and Bill Shaw for furnishing and cooking the burgers and dogs for lunch. That was a great way to wrap up the day. In closing I would say that to all those that were there I hope you can make the next one and for those who were unable to attend we look forward to you joining us the next time.”

In God’s Service,

Dennis Murray

Property Committee Chairman
