A message To our members
Wow, do you believe it’s already May. Hi, my name is Doreen Rosales and I’m the new Senior Regent for 2016-2017. I’m still surprised that I was voted to the WOTM Board ( I haven't’ been here that long), but I’m really looking forward to working with everyone for a fabulous year. On April 9 we had the WOTM Board installation and the LOOM installation on the 23rd. I would like to congratulate Russ Cote’ and the rest of the LOOM Officers. On May 1st there’s the Lodge Memorial for our departed brothers and sisters. All WOTM mothers get a free special breakfast on Sunday, May 8th. The Friday night Bingo schedule has changed to every other Friday night starting on May 13th. On May 21st we have the Relay for Life at Geweke Field and our annual Lodge picnic at Lake Minden. I’d like to thank Debbie Phillips and her WOTM Board for doing a spectacular job this past year. I hope to see new faces at the WOTM Tuesday night meetings; let’s get some new members !! And last but not least, our new Lodge Secretary, Peg Ballasch, is doing a top notch job in the Admin Office; stop by and say hi to her. The Moosette of the month is Pat Vasquez. Senior Regent, Doreen Rosales
Hello, brothers and co-workers, I’m your new
Governor, Russ Cote. Thank you to the outgoing
LOOM and WOTM Boards—Job Well Done. Con-
gratulations, to Doreen Rosales, the new Senior
Regent and her Board. I’m looking forward to a
great year working together.
This year starts off quick with the Lodge Memorial
on Saturday, May 1st at 2 p.m. for our departed
brothers and sisters; Mother’s Day breakfast on
Sunday, May 8th; the Lodge picnic on the 21st,
and the Memorial Day BBQ on the 30th
We are always looking for volunteers, so if you
would like to help contact the Office. Also, if you
would like to know what’s going on at the Lodge, I
invite you to attend the Regular Lodge Meetings.
My Super Moose for the month is Ken Jordan.

The Family Fraternity.

ganization of Men and
Women, dedicated to
caring for young and
old, bringing communi-
ties closer together and
celebrating life.
At the California-Nevada Moose Association Convention in Reno we found out
that the majority of new visitors to the Moose International web site were interested in
finding out what the benefits of being a Moose member are. There are quite a few and
unless you checked them out lately you could be surprised as to how many there are.
Check them out and take advantage of them.
All of you pool sharks, get your "cues" in order and prepare for the upcoming
inter lodge and inter district Pool Tournament coming up this summer. We are prepairing our pool
table so you can practice and be prepared to compete against the other lodges in our area. Although
the Moose International tournament rules say no co-ed teams for the CNMA tournament co-ed teams
will be allowed.
On the home front, have you seen the parking lot lit up with the new brighter than day light?
We are planning on getting a few more to make the parking area even safer for our night time func-
tions.
We’ve got some lost and found items (glasses, jewelry, watches and keys) piling up here.
Please check out the front merchandise case! Also the coat room has some sweaters and jackets too.
Fraternally yours,
Joe Zenkus
