Members,
I would like to invite you aswe launch the new menus foryour dining pleasure; the KickOff is Friday August 31st.Invite your family and friendshave a great dinner along witha great cocktail or beverage. As with all new changes thereare bound to be some kinksbut it won’t be anything wecan’t overcome or fix. OurClub Manager Becky and herstaff along with the HouseCommittee have puttremendous effort in makingthis successful and we hopeyou will enjoy the results. Giveus your feedback but firstgive us a chance.
As you will read in some ofthe other articles from theHouse Committee andTrustees we have turned aprofit for the first quarter ofthe year, this in itself is causefor “cautious celebration”however we need to be verycareful as we move forwardbut it is very clear that we havefound the right path. With thenewly formulated andappointed 5 member HouseC o m m i t t e e , o u r C l u bManager, and your LodgeTrustees and by allowing themthe opportunity to worktogether to do their job theyhave been able to reign in ourcost and turn in a profit. Icommend them all for theirhard work for a Job WellDone! We would be foolishto believe that our Lodge isout of the woods, therefore itwill take careful and closeobservation of our financesand strict management toavoid any potholes or pitfallswe may encounter along ourway. The summer monthshave customarily been theLodges slowest months of theyear so we must treadcarefully until we get throughthem.
