The Golden Eagle Volume 5 “Summer of FUN-nominal” Week 7 Special Events Special Events This week’s Special Day was Carnival! The long awaited day had finally arrived! Every camper from our youngest in Kiddie Kingdom all the way up to the oldest campers who are CITs got to be involved in this awesome day. There was a Giant Game Center under the White Tent that was run by our seventh and eighth grade campers. The Giant Game Center included games such as: Giant Twister, Giant Connect 4, Giant Kerplunk, Giant Pick-Up Sticks and more. This year, a new element was added to Carnival. Campers of all ages had the privilege of seeing a show! Kiddie Kingdom through fourth grade got to see a Magic Show. Fifth grade and up got to see a Juggling Show. Along with the shows, we had staff members walking around making balloon animals. There were special rides brought in for different age groups. Kiddie Kingdom through second grade enjoyed the Trackless Train and the Carousel Bounce House. Campers in third grade and up enjoyed the 4-Man Equalizer and an Extreme Obstacle Course. Third through sixth grade campers ran the booths together this year. Different booths seen around camp included Spin Art, Fishing, Krazy Cans, Coke Bottle Ring Toss, Spill the Milk and Jelly Bean Count. Campers favorite booths included Face Painting, Air Brush Tattoos, the Dunk Tank and the Marriage Booth. But wait, there’s more! Campers also had the chance to stop by the Blue and White Tent to grab a special treat. They had the choice of slushies, popcorn, cotton candy or ice cream. Carnival is always fun, but it also means that camp is coming to an end. Next week’s Special Day is Drama Shows! Break a Leg to all the performers! They were excited to stay at camp for more fun such as Camp Midnight Madness, Free Swim and Capture the Flag. Thursday was our Lower Camp Shows Lower Camp Shows. Kiddie Kingdom was singing and dancing as they performed in Music of the Seasons. First and second graders had fun performing in Music Through the Decades. Hats off to all performers. You inspired us all with your display of talent! On Friday campers came decked out for Vacation T-Shirt Day! It was awesome to see all of the places everyone has traveled to! This week in Tribes campers played some awesome games. Girls in seventh and eighth grade played Coke and Pepsi. Girls in third and fourth grade played Giant Jenga. Boys in fifth grade played a mix of Corner Ball and Crab Soccer. The winner this week was the Ladings! Ladings! The competition continues for week eight! As next week is our last week, a special thank you to all the counselors, division leaders, specialists, office staff, Ruth Ann, Barry, Alyssa, Brian and Shira and everyone else who helped put together The Golden Eagle each week. Special EventsSpecial Events This week’s Special Day was Carnival! The long awaited day had fi nally arrived! Every camper from our youngest in Kiddie Kingdom all the way up to the oldest campers who are CITs got to be involved in this awesome day. There was a Giant Game Center under the White Tent that was run by our seventh and eighth grade campers. Another FUN-NOMINAL

week of Fun in the Sun! The much anticipated week seven is behind us. Monday we kicked off the week with the 1st Grade Breakfast and 2nd Grade Stay Late. Our campers going into fi rst grade enjoyed a special breakfast just for them. It was nice for campers to spend some quality time with their friends, talking and laughing. Campers going into second grade were really excited to stay at camp after everyone left. Everyone had a wonderful time. On Look Alike Day everyone came to camp matching someone else. It was so much fun to see all of the matching outfi ts and even hairstyles! After waiting an entire year (because carnival is that much fun) campers had a blast at ELDC’s Carnival. Our salad bar includes fresh mixed greens, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrot sticks, hard boiled eggs, croutons, sliced beets, chunk tuna, hummus, raisins, fresh fruit, applesauce, shredded cheddar cheese, low-fat fruit yogurt, pasta salad and corn. Tuna, turkey or sunbutter and jelly sandwiches on whole wheat bread or whole wheat bagels with cream cheese or margarine (dairy free) are always available. A healthy, whole grain snack is available every morning. Ice cream or ices and fresh fruit are served as a snack in the afternoon. Special dietary concerns including kosher, gluten free, vegetarian and food allergies can be accommodated. Eagle’s Landing is “Peanut Aware.” All of our food is free of nut derivatives, including peanuts. All of our food is baked or grilled and contains no trans fats. Nothing is fried.

The Rockstars of BKD This summer may be almost over, but BKD is still having a rockin’ time! Christian Marks has become a Ga-Ga master over the past seven weeks. Scooting around the Morning Gathering area is Logan Bennett’s new favorite activity! Going to Nature and seeing the new baby chicks is something Jared Mondesir loves to do. Derek Levine loves going to Basketball and shooting some hoops. Luca Sarapin may not be the size of a shark but he sure does swim like one! Time sure does fl y when you’re having fun! We are sad to say the summer is almost over!

TabletsTablets The younger campers at Eagle’s Landing LOVE playing on the tablets. Throughout the summer, campers have come into the Computers area and had loads of fun playing numerous games available to them. What games you might ask? Temple Run 1 and 2, Subway Surfer, Madden Mobile, Candy Crush Saga, Angry Birds and many others. To put it simply, the younger campers had a great summer using the tablets!

The B4A “Eagle’s Wings of Fury”

B4A had an awesome seventh week of camp! They had an exciting wet Monday due to the weather, but they had so much fun playing Jeopardy and watching Aladdin 2: Return of Jafar! Aarush Pawar and Dylan Belsky had so much fun at Woodshop making wooden bells. Dominic Furey and Armaan Nashine were great in Silent Ball, winning every round. Nikhil Dhruv and Pratham Saxena had the time of their lives during the Carnival trying booth activities and going on the rides! Ryleigh Lato and Ty Hecht were inseparable in Ga-Ga and no one could get them out. We had so much fun and can’t wait to see what week eight has in store for us. We hope to see everyone again next year!

7th & 8th Grade As we approach week eight of camp, we can begin to look back at all of the fun we have had together and look forward to one more week to round out the summer. We traveled to Liberty Science Center where 6th, 7th and 8th grade campers were able to mix education with fun by exploring some awesome exhibits. Our trip to Sandy Hook was a success as always. The campers loved to hang out on the beach and enjoyed jumping the waves in the ocean. The 8th grade really enjoyed their trip to eat Japanese Hibachi food and is looking forward to returning to Jenkinson’s beach all by themselves during week eight. Week seven has been the best week of all, starting with Look-Alike Day where several campers got to experience being a twin for a day. Carnival fi nally arrived on Wednesday and we all had a blast playing games, eating popcorn, cotton candy and quenching our thirst with delicious slushies. On Thursday we went to Branchburg Sports which is everyone’s favorite trip. We were able to play indoor Ga-Ga, Laser Tag and enjoy some games in the arcade. Of course, we cannot forget about TRIBAL GAMES! Throughout the summer our campers have competed each week in these games. Each week a tribal winner was determined and now we are anxiously anticipating the fi nal competition to take place on Tribal Day during week eight. We cannot wait to see what Tribe will triumph to become the overall winner for the summer of FUN-nominal!

B6C’s Awesome Week B6C had an incredible week seven at Eagle’s Landing Day Camp! Nicky Todd had an awesome time at the Carnival and in Ga-Ga. Liam Sobolewski had a great time in Drama Show and in Archery. Zev Sharlot had a blast at the movies and bowling during our rainy day schedule. Brady Powell enjoyed Prison Ball and playing on the Computers. Miles Feldman also had lots of fun playing on the Computers and had a great time at the Carnival. Paxton Furr loved playing Ga-Ga and Tennis. Paul Comaianni had an amazing time playing Air Hockey at the bowling alley and taking apart items in Tools ‘n’ Tech. B6C could not have asked for a better week seven and we are all excited to fi nish the summer strong!

Arts and Crafts

Who loves duct tape? Arts and Crafts loves duct tape! This summer we have so many new patterns and colors to choose from that everyone is even more excited to design their own pillows, pocketbooks and fl ip fl ops! A new Arts and Crafts venture this summer had been creating sets for the Upper Camp play Shrek the Musical, Jr. The campers have been so excited to design Shrek’s house, Lord Farquad’s castle and Fiona’s tower-books and more. They can’t wait to see all their hard work on stage the day and night of the show. - Jamie, Arts and Crafts Coordinator

Week 7 for G7B! G7B began the week with a rainy day but that didn’t stop us from having fun! Brooke Motusesky scored over 100 points while Bowling on Monday and even got some spares! After the rain clouds went away, Sarah Masiuk and Elyse Nadelman made duct tape fl ip fl ops in Arts and Crafts! Brooke Zevon and Abby Diamond also used duct tape in Arts and Crafts, but they used it to decorate a notebook! Jessica Kenny battled seventh, eighth and ninth graders in Ga-Ga and won against all of them! Samantha Alter splashed in the Pool during Swim and was happy to be in the sunshine! Emily Yatsko made Rice Krispie treats with cookie dough in Baking and they were delicious! Melissa Eatroff enjoyed Baking and also had fun watching The Emoji Movie during the rainy day! Carly Drobbin enjoyed Carnival and running our booth, Baby Pictures! The “Katniss” of our group, Rebekkah Taistra, shot multiple bullseyes and continues to love Archery! As the summer begins to end, we are all so sad to say goodbye! G7B has had an awesome summer and we’re excited to end it on a good note with week eight!

Vegetable Pot StickersIngredients:

3 tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce, divided 2 tbsp rice-wine vinegar 3 tbsp grated carrots 3 tbsp corn kernels ½ cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed with excess water squeezed out 16 wonton wrappers 1 tbsp sugar ½ tsp grated ginger

Instructions: 1. In a small bowl, whisk the vinegar, 2 tbsp soy sauce, sugar and ginger together and set aside. This is your dipping sauce. 2. Use a section of wax paper and put wonton wrappers on the wax paper. Place a small about of spinach, corn and carrots in the middle of each wonton wrapper. Drizzle a small amount of the remaining soy sauce on top of the veggies on each wonton. 3. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil while you are fi nishing the wontons. Get another small bowl and fi ll with water. Dip your fi nger into the water and apply the water to the sides of the wonton wrapper. Fold the wonton wrapper over and pinch the edges together and make sure you have sealed the sides. 4. Once you have all your wonton wrappers fi lled and sealed, boil for 3 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove pot stickers from water and drain. Cool on platter and serve with dipping sauce.

B2C’s Fantastic Week! B2C has had an amazing seventh week at camp! Tejas Geria was a master when we played Tennis! Frank Gangemi had an awesome time playing Ping Pong! Viru Patel-Pena made an great hot air balloon in Arts and Crafts! Charlie Kienle had a fun time on all of the Carnival rides! Noah Peters loved Ninja Warrior and was super speedy! Mark Smith had a great time in the Pool with all of his friends! Luke Ruoff was astounding when we played Simon Says! Ryan Weiss had a superb performance in the Lower Camp Show! There is only one week left but we will make it the best week ever!

G7A’S BEST WEEK YET With only one week to go, the girls of G7A have made the most of each and every day. Annette Greenberg excelled in the American Ninja Warrior course. Hannah Cadoff has been hard at work preparing for the Drama Show. Make sure to come check her out in Shrek the Musical, Jr. during week eight! Faith Elliott-Diaz and Sara Birns mastered their bumping and setting skills in Volleyball while Morgan Lee and Maddy Cohen held their own in Ga-Ga. Maddy Cohen also happened to take the win in Ga-Ga more than once! Kaitlyn Born and Haley Sawyer made some delicious cookie dough rice crispy treats in Baking. Leah Flanders had an awesome time at Branchburg Sports where she dominated in Laser Tag and Ga-Ga. The girls of G7A had a blast at Carnival, especially Sophia Haluska! Everyone was raving about the popcorn and cotton candy for days! With the summer quickly coming to an end, G7A is ready to make week eight the best week yet.

Fun Lovin’ Gals of G1C G1C had another fantastic week at Eagle’s Landing! Nirali Dhruv loved playing Ga-Ga and is excellent at jumping over the ball. Alex Cooperman ran super fast in T-ball, scoring the winning run for her team. Sydney Rajan made a beautiful 3-dimensional house in Arts and Crafts. Lila Huang made delicious Rice Krispie treats in Baking. Emma Marx loved our Nature walk where we learned about the diff erent types of trees. Kallie O’Donnell sang beautifully in Music as we practiced playing instruments. Savannah Estrada loved playing Basketball with the group and shot the ball like a pro. All the girls had a wonderful day at the Carnival on Wednesday and were superstars on stage during our show on Thursday! We cannot wait for next week!

3rd & 4th Grade Love ELDC! It’s week seven? How can it be? Time has fl own too fast for Justin and Julie! We had two new Stay Lates with activities galore, both ending sweetly with each camper getting an ice cream or a s’more! Our campers loved Around the World Day and Dr. Seuss Day too, before truly enjoying Carnival with a show to see and booths to do! Next week is the Drama Show and though we’re sad to go, we want to wish everyone an amazing school year learning all there is to know. 2017 is ending, but the fun has just begun, because we’ll see you all next year for even more super fun!

B8A’s Continued Fun! The eighth grade boys continued their fun during week seven of camp through the rain and sunshine! Jason Adams made toy rockets in Mad Science by experimenting with alka-seltzer! In Ropes, Matthew Bransky and Nick Seto had an amazing time on the Eagle’s Nest and provided great encouragement to their friends. During our rainy day, Alexander Yasko had a great time on the Bowling trip and did a great job knocking down all the pins! Dylan Newton and Brandon Weber were Ga-Ga winners! Ryan Kovacs fi nished up his picnic table that he worked on in Woodshop and had a blast playing Wall Ball. At our Stay Late, Billy Peters had great performances in our group Prison Ball games. Max Goldstein captured the fl ag and helped with starting the campfi re! Nick D’Aloia, Joey Reilly and Billy Zhang enjoyed our trip to Branchburg Sports playing laser tag and other fun games! We look forward to ending the summer with a bang!

This summer has been amazing so far and we can’t believe there is only one week left of camp! In Baking Leah Angelo made dirt cups during our rainy day. During the Arts & Crafts elective Ruby Portnoy made her own chocolate fl avored lip balm. Ananya Rao helped her team earn points during Tribes by playing Giant Jenga. Aditi Sundar sang along to Disney hits in Music. Madison Taistra loved going to Swim, always ready to make a splash. Nina Lozito made a newspaper and tissue paper spider in Arts & Crafts. Ella Weber helped nail together a television remote control holder in Woodshop. Emily Wyand had the opportunity to climb the low Rock Wall during Ropes. Each one of the girls had an amazing time at Carnival where they got to watch a magic show, go to all the booths and eat the diff erent Carnival foods. Week seven was great! We can’t wait to see what we will do next week. We wish each girl the best during the school year and we hope to see them next summer!

BKB Can’t Wait for Week 8! BKB has had an awesome seventh week at camp. Alex Katz showed off his skills at T-ball. Dylan White splashed away during our time at Free Swim. During Mini Golf, Jackson Elefonte got a hole in one! We watched the cutest puppet show during Music and Gil Fadida loved it. Saahil Zemse and Wyatt Giglio dribbled their way down the court at Basketball and made their shots! Elliott Smith built the coolest tower at Legoland. Dillon Klimcsak ran through the Spray Park and was splashing away. Anthony Young enjoyed playing at the Wooden Trucks and Tires! Brian Yepes showed off his moves at our last Show practice! Lukas Ftikas couldn’t stop laughing during Creative Dramatics. All of the boys really enjoyed the Carnival and we can’t wait for week 8!

B2B Bursting with Joy B2B had another excellent week! Michael Englert had a blast playing Mini Golf. Sam Kaplan, Adam Kamal and Zachary Oliver got their hands dirty in Ceramics. Aiden Hansen loved Basketball! Roman Tutela was ecstatic and enjoyed Cooking. Kyle Cirillo-Spalding had a mind-blowing time while at Clubs, and let’s not forget Carnival! Noah Austein had such a fun time! These guys loved everything, and can’t wait for next week!

The B4B BananasThe B4B Bananas It has been without a doubt a fantastic week for the B4B Bananas. Trey Christian enjoyed himself while shooting some hoops at Basketball. Owen O’Donnell and Carlo Salardino had a great time completing the low Ropes course with a lot of teamwork and positive communication. Jonathan Seto had a wonderful time building in Woodshop. Benjamin Stoeckel had a blast in Computers. Josh Christian and Pavan Patel had a glorious time winning multiple games in Ga-Ga. Neil Ninan could not get enough of Free Swim and was sad to see it end so soon; he wants longer Swim periods! Robert Auker had a blast at Carnival! The Bananas have had a phenomenal Week 7 and we are looking forward to how much more fun we can pack into the last week! Have a great school year and we hope to see everyone next summer!

G5A Never Wants Summer to End! G5A had a FUN-nominal seventh week here at ELDC! We had the Carnival this week, a camper favorite, especially for Sarah Pennock! She had a blast running the Spin Art booth and exploring all of the other activities. Savannah Newman, Jessica Zevon and Sarah Lee also enjoyed Carnival where they got matching airbrush tattoos! For our Ropes activity we got to go on the cargo net where Maya Davis and Danielle Gaskell had a crazy time swinging around. In Baking, Ava Masiuk enjoyed making Oreo Rice Krispie Treats with her friends! Samantha Milsted challenged herself at the Ninja Warrior Course running, jumping and climbing through obstacles! Lauren Goldenfarb went to the Ropes course for one of her electives and was rockin’ it above ground! Rose Rykus and Rachel Goldenfarb shared a ton of laughs while designing some cool duct tape pillows. We wish this week would last forever because we don’t want the summer to end!

B2A Brawler’s Awesome WeekB2A Brawler’s Awesome Week

Week seven was another fantastic week for the B2A Brawlers. Max Mayer had a blast working with sound in Mad Science. Mikey Satchell showed everyone what an awesome hot air balloon looks like in Arts and Crafts. Rafael Sharlot crushed the Relay Races showing off how fast he is. Shiv Patel made shot after shot in Basketball. Kanishk Mogha made masterpieces with Legos at the Stay Late. AJ Coppola was a home run machine at T-ball. B2A had a blast this summer and we can’t wait to see what week eight has in store for us.

G1A Sparkly Stars G1A had a fantastic week seven! Charlee Bielecki loved showing off her skills in Ga-Ga. Emma Dempkowski passed the deep water test and was able to swim like a fi sh in the big Pool. Sarina Mani loved making pretty jewelry in Art Too. Harper Ockun loved going to Tennis and playing with all her friends. Sasha Schteyman loved making candy sushi in Cooking during the rainy day. Laila Palmer had a blast looking for unicorns during our Nature walk in Division Leader Time. Mia Garner showed off her artistic abilities in Arts and Crafts. Maya Zernitsky loved playing Charades in Creative Dramatics. The girls of G1A had a blast at Carnival! Their favorite part was the cotton candy. We are sad that the summer is coming to an end but we’ll be sure to make the most out of what’s left!

Music This week has been another spectacular adventure in Music! We jammed out in a ukulele sing-along to songs from Moana, The Little Mermaid and Trolls. We also enjoyed a silly puppet show about three little ducks. We even formed our own band by using percussion instruments to rock out to the ELDC Camp Song. We are looking forward to next week so we can round out another musical summer here at ELDC!

Cookie Dough Krispie TreatsIngredients:Krispie Layer 5 tbsp butter 8 cups mini marshmallows 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal

Cookie Dough Layer 1 cup butter, room temperature 1 cup light brown sugar ½ cup granulated sugar ¼ cup milk 2 tsp vanilla ½ tsp salt 2 cups fl our 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Milk Chocolate Ganache 7 oz chopped milk chocolate ½ cup heavy cream

Directions:Krispie Layer 1. Line a 9x13 pan with foil and spray lightly with cooking spray. Set aside. 2. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Once melted add in marshmallows, stirring continuously until they are melted. Immediately remove from heat and stir in cereal. 3. Once the cereal is completely combined with the melted marshmallow, spread into pan and press evenly. Set aside while you’re making your cookie dough.

Cookie Dough 1. Beat butter and both sugars until combined. Add in milk, vanilla and salt and mix until smooth, scraping the sides as necessary. 2. Turn mixer to low and add in the fl our until incorporated. Finally stir in the chocolate chips. 3. Spread the cookie dough over the krispie layer.

Milk Chocolate Ganache 1. Chop milk chocolate and place in a heat safe bowl. 2. Heat heavy cream until very hot and steaming, but not boiling. Pour hot cream over the milk chocolate and allow to sit for 1 minute to melt and soften the chocolate. Then stir the mixture until chocolate is completely melted. Allow chocolate to sit for 5 minutes to cool slightly and then pour on the cookie dough layer. Spread the chocolate to the edges of the pan and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until chocolate is set. 3. Remove from refrigerator and cut into squares.

The Girls of G3 Peace G3 Peace continues to have an awesome time at Eagle’s Landing. Caitlin Kienle had a blast zipping down the Zipline during her Ropes elective. Taylor Mitchell enjoyed eating chocolate and caramel Rice Krispy treats during the Baking elective. Ava DeSimone and Caroline Lu enjoyed learning how to make a crystal mixture in STEM. Clodagh Peduto loved creating a spider out of newspaper and rubber bands in Arts and Crafts. Dedeepya Tadapaneni and Sara Adams had a great time playing Human Jenga during Tribes. During our rainy day schedule, Grace Shin, Ally Beckman and Amanda Seidler had many laughs playing Apples to Apples. Zoe Liberman and Gabby Supan continue to be excited to practice for the upcoming Drama Show. All of the girls are excited to fi nish off the summer with each other!

BKE is Bouncing into Week 8! Summer is fl ying by and BKE is having so much fun at Eagle’s Landing Day Camp. Week seven was full of many fun days, especially Carnival Day and the Kiddie Kingdom Show. The boys had so much fun showing their family and friends the dances they worked on all summer. Gavin Raber made yummy dirt in Baking. Manny Salgado drove to new places at Trucks and won many games at Ping Pong. Christopher Lauritsen made super cool bracelets in Art Too. Lucas Naumov did cool tricks and rolled around at Scooters. Parker Green saw the animals and learned more about lizards in Nature. Nicholas Brady had so much fun playing Soccer. BKE had so much fun at the Carnival and enjoyed going to all the booths and playing all the games. We are excited for week eight!

The Fabulous Life of G1B! G1B had a fantastic seventh week! We started out the week with a rainy day full of fun. Sophia Coppolino made a delicious cup of chocolate dirt pudding and gummy worms in Baking. Sarah Font rocked it in Show and perfected the dance she just learned! In Art Too, Jillian Watson made two very beautiful bracelets. Gianna Calle had a great time making her paper house and yard in Arts and Crafts. Caylee Inselberg did awesome in Soccer and kicked the ball so far. Marluz Santiago showed off her ninja skills in Ninja Warrior when she went through the whole course! Everyone loved our Nature walk during Division Leader Time with Hanna where we learned about the trees at camp. During Carnival everyone chowed down on yummy cotton candy and loved going booth to booth to do new activities. This week has been so much fun and we can’t wait for week eight with all of our amazing campers!

SoccerSoccer Campers from Kiddie Kingdom all the way to eighth grade have been kickin’ it at Soccer all summer long! In Lower Camp we practiced our dribbling skills in fun games like Octopus Tag, Red Light Green Light, and Treasure Island. Upper Camp was thrilled about competitive games like Steal the Bacon and World Cup. Everyone is eager to play in mini tournaments and full-length soccer games for the last week of camp!

B6B’s Wonderful Week!

The boys of B6B had a super week seven! With only one week to go, the boys made sure to make the most of each activity! Kenny Atzingen and Sunjay Kadam dominated in Ga-Ga. With some killer serves and numerous knockouts, these boys were a force to be reckoned with. Oskar Bayazitov was busy fl ying through the Ropes course. Steven Koshy was tearing up the court in Basketball. Joseph Ribsam and Shaurya Sarma made some delicious cookie dough Rice Krispie Treats in Baking but unfortunately didn’t save any for their counselors. “They were just too good!” Mischa Dumesh, Jason Paltenstein and Robert Progebin had an awesome time on the rainy day trip on Monday. The Emoji Movie and bowling were the perfect combo according to these boys. Michael Costagliola and Sebastian Tutela loved Carnival! From the yummy snacks to all the diff erent booths, Carnival was jampacked with excitement. As week seven comes to an end, the boys of B6B can’t wait to see what their last week of camp has in store for them!

The best summer ever for BKA

BKA had a fantastic seventh week of camp! Benny Hirsch loved Baking and tasting all of the yummy treats we made! Junior Santiago loved practicing for the Show and showing off his great moves! Dylan Dever loved Basketball and got the ball in the hoop every time! Payton Rajan loved playing T-ball and was able to hit the ball super far! Christian Johnson loved Arts and Crafts and made wonderful projects! We are looking forward to a great end of the summer with our wonderful boys!

The B4C State Farmers B4C had an exceptional week seven at Eagle’s Landing Day Camp. Sean Aronson and Matthew Bershad had a great time in Mad Science, pretending to remove oil from the ocean during an experiment. David Shenker and Alex Naumov had a blast during Carnival as they ran around to all the booths and games. Ryan Austein made four points for his team in Basketball, giving his team a solid lead. Joshua Goldenfarb and James Tomasini had a great time playing with Andrew, our CIT, in Computers. They played a game that guessed what they were thinking and it was a lot of fun! Dean Kamel did great during our games of Ga-Ga. Carson Altman made a lot of tasty treats in Baking. Evan Taistra and Ben Schneeweis had an incredible time during the rainy day on Monday, loving the board games and watching Aladdin 2: Return of Jafar with the group. We hope to continue to have the best time ever at Eagle’s Landing Day Camp!

G3C’s Fabulous Week! G3C had an awesome seventh week at ELDC! Chariklia Marton, Diya Balasun and Kimi Zhong enjoyed making dirt cups in Baking during our rainy day. Sofi a Ilnitskyy, Maya Hari, Kayla Rajan and Juliana Williams have worked so hard during Drama as they prepare for the show next week. Stephanie Salpeter and Marcela Ventrice made spiders out of tape during Arts and Crafts and had so much fun! Maya Dubois and Victoria Hunter got competitive during Tribes playing Jenga. They had a great time! Eden Winston and Sayali Vinod had a relaxing time watching Aladdin 2 during our rainy day and loved it. We can’t believe the end of camp is approaching, but we still have a week left and can’t wait to make it the best!

The G5B SUPERSTARSThe G5B SUPERSTARS The girls of G5B had a fantastic week at camp! On Monday’s rainy day, Maya Sampson enjoyed the sing-along in Music. Heather Handeland loved making bracelets and key chains. Ashna Patel and Nina Soni enjoyed Look Alike Day, they wore matching outfi ts and bows! Taylor Mendoker made a delicious dish during the Iron Chef competition in Cooking which she named the “Banana Chocolate Cheese Split”. Inna Chernyavsky and Ashley Salvesen enjoyed Arts and Crafts. Inna had fun creating a duct tape pillow and Ashley worked on props for Shrek the Musical, Jr. that she will be performing in. Ava Koller had so much fun at Archery, trying her best to get a bullseye. Elim Chu enjoyed Ceramics where she worked on creating a plate. Mia Andreocci had fun in Nature learning how to tie knots. The G5B Superstars can’t wait for week eight!

BKC is Ready & Roaring for Week 8! The BKC boys are having a wonderful seventh week at camp! They are all getting more and more comfortable each week and we are sad to say it’s almost over. Lucas Balint enjoys making waves during Swim. Brayden O’Brien was an expert at playing Ping Pong and told us all about how he loves to play it at home. Travis Levin had so much fun at Carnival this week. He ate cotton candy until his tongue was blue! Blake Smith had fun during Scooters! When we went to a rainy day schedule on Monday, Jai Patel-Pena loved watching the Bee Movie! Evrett Revolinsky had a great time knocking down Angry Birds at Fantastic Fun and scored so many points for his team! Ryan Englert enjoyed having the important job of being the Lego Keeper at Creative Dramatics. Jonathan Hadad didn’t want to leave T-ball as he was hitting the ball as far as he could in order to gain points for himself. Colin Dever was getting creative as he built huge robots and towers at Legoland. We can’t wait for week eight!

B6A is the Best! A little rainy weather on Monday can’t stop B6A from having a fantastic week! Brandon Walenty had a blast at Ga-Ga making it into the fi nals multiple times. Evan Maruyama and Donovan Man had a fantastic time walking around and playing games at the Carnival. Sebastian Sherry was the master at Poly-Pong as he stayed in the Ace position for multiple rounds. On our rainy day, Dillon Kamis acted as a pro bowler scoring points left and right. From the magnifi cent art projects Raj Mehta made this week, it is no doubt that he is a great artist. Kyle Chigas was a great team player in Hockey helping make passes and scoring goals. Creativity was fl owing for Ethan Bennett as he created a model of the structure of DNA out of candy in STEM. At Basketball, Jack Altman made great passes and many baskets. Another great week has come to a close and we look forward to making our last week of camp a great one!
