think that our whole educational system was wrong and that we ought to do our study in the cheery, sunny days of July and August, when our souls were ventilated with God’s pure air, even more than during November, December or January when the only source of mental stimulation seems to be a steam radiator and a frost-smeared window.

The next summer T decided upon a plan. I found that the best teacher in town was arranging for a
