Zoom MeetingFollowing the August 11th workshop meeting

conducted in the clubhouse, several residents reported major problems in terms of clarity and reception with Zoom. The Board scheduled a service visit with Xfin-ity to assess and correct the Wi-Fi issue which will involve the installation of an additional router on the first floor of the clubhouse to provide better reception for meetings held in the main meeting room. We hope this action will resolve the situation in time for our next meeting. We appreciate your patience as we adjust to new technical issues during the pandemic.

Watch Your Speed Pleasethe board has received numerous complaints of

speeding, specifically on Atlantic Hills Blvd. Our community speed limit is 25 mpH and on most of our streets that is too fast. Getting caught doing 40-50 mpH can be a dangerous and costly mistake on our township patrolled streets. pLeASe SLOW DOWN AND ObeY OUr SpeeD LImIt. tHANK YOU.

Route 72 Turning Lane UpateStafford Township Administrator, Matt von der

Hayden advised the board that the NJ Department of transportation recently indicated they would not pursue the route 72 turning lane to provide a center left hand turning lane for residents traveling eastbound to the Atlantic Hills community. mr. von der Hayden indicated that upon further research for potential transportation assistance grants, the township has identified an alternate grant program which may be appropriate. the township plans to submit the route 72 turning lane proposal through this competitive grant process and will keep the board apprised of the grant status.

I often like to slow down the shutter speed to get some nice soft eff ects on the water. This is how you make a moving stream seem like a silky blanket. It is also nice when you have ripples or waves that you’d like to blur.

to blur the water you’ll need a long exposure. How Long? that depends on the speed of the water, but generally a second or two will do the trick. Several seconds will give you a soft ethereal look.

the long exposure negates hand holding the camera, so you’ll need a tripod. I prefer to shoot these shots on aperture priority, but shutter priority or manual will yield the same results.

Set the aperture to the highest number (F16, F22, etc.) and use the lowest ISO your camera off ers (ISO-100). If the shutter is still too short, a neutral density fi lter will do the trick. This fi lter is simply a dark piece of glass that blocks some of the light, so the shutter speed will be longer.

make certain you use a cable release or the self timer to eliminate camera shake when you trip the shutter.
