Year 14 pupils bravely agreed to have their legs waxed to raise money for

Termon Maguirc Cancer Care in memory of their dear friend, Conall McCrory

(RIP). As well as the extreme pain felt by the students put great effort into

collecting over £600 from staff and pupils – well done gentlemen and a big thank

you to all who donated.

Also, our sincere thanks to the beauticians and their tutor, Mrs Diane Fox from

South West College, for volunteering to do this for us – it is much appreciated!

NUT ALLERGIES At the moment we have a number of

pupils in school who are highly

sensitive to nuts in particular peanuts,

exposure or ingestion of nuts can cause

very serious health problems for some

students therefore.. We would very much appreciate if

pupils refrain from bringing nuts or

nut products ie peanut bars, sweets,

into school, and to remain diligent if

any of their friends suffer from nut

allergies, also; If pupils are travelling on school

trips, we request that they refrain

from bringing any form of nut or nut

products on the trip, to ensure the

safety of their friends. Pupil care plans, spare EpiPens /

Inhalers must accompany pupils

prescribed same when off site, in

order to manage Anaphylactic crisis

should the need arise.

should be £45 but OLC is subsidising cost so only £30 payable by

pupils.

Prayer for Success in Examinations:

O humble Saint Joseph of Cupertino, singularly

favoured by God in overcoming the difficulties of

study and the worries of examinations, implore the

Holy Spirit to enlighten my mind and strengthen my

memory, in the search of His Truth and Wisdom.

Help me especially in the decisive moments of this

examination, protecting me from that forgetfulness

and disturbing anxiety which often affect me.

May I succeed in offering God my finest work,

and may I grow in knowledge, understanding, humility

and charity.

May everything that I attempt to learn in life be

offered in faithful service to God, from whom flows

that wisdom which leads to eternal Life.
