TRANSCRIPT
Last December a long time friend of this ministry,
Kelly Ivutin, contacted PROD to see if we could use
contributions for any special project. The answer -
a resounding YES! As a leader of the Rise UP Club
at Mt. Bethel Elementary School, Kelly put
together a time for the boys and girls in the club to
learn about using and growing talents based on the
scripture lesson found in Mathew 25. Each child was
given $1 and one month to “grow” it.
To everyone’s amazement the dollars were
multiplied by the creativity of these youngsters.
Some babysat, some dog-sat or dog-walked, some
did other chores around the house and neighborhood. When all the growth was counted,
PROD had over $400 to get new car seats! Thanks boys and girls for your generosity!

It is very rewarding when someone actually
responds to a “WISH” in the newsletter! Such is
the case with Angela Rodda and some in her
Sunday school class at Dunwoody Baptist
Church. These eight people worked over a
Friday night and Saturday morning to transform
the Stork’s Basket [the store for our moms to use
their Mommy Dollars] into useable space.

took the plans drawn by one of our moms, who
happens to be an architect from Columbia, and
made the blue prints become a reality.
Thanks for your generosity of time and energy in making shopping for our moms easier!

DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN…...
“Can you help me? I’m 16 and this is my third child.” This was the beginning of the conversation with a young lady [we’ll call her Lily] over the phone recently. Her story was much more complex when she finally arrived at the office and the situation she finds herself trying to handle as a teen is far beyond her abilities. She told of living in the Atlanta area as a youngster, then it was back to her home country and another move to another state in the western area of the United States. She has had no relationship with a father and a fragile relationship with her mom. Her siblings are also in this limbo lifestyle. The man who is the father of the baby is doing nothing to help her with this pregnancy, but she is hoping he will rise to his responsibili-ties when the baby is born. Of this hope, she has no assurances since he tends to travel and as much as possible stay out of the country. We began the checklist of things to guide her to get: a doctor, how to stay in school, financial assistance for the pregnancy, and on and on the list went. Lily seemed in a trance over all the decisions that needed to be made. Some things she was open to doing but others she seemed hesitant to embrace. Reality is a difficult thing to get your head around especially at age 16. Lily has seen a doctor who changed her due date to sooner not the date she thought would be much later. Her plans for finishing school are to study until the baby arrives. We have so much to help her achieve. First and foremost is to introduce her to a Savior wanting very much to give her His gift of salvation and some guidance for her life! Thank you for making it possible to have the resources to work with Lily. Please, pray for this child and for the volunteers who will be working with her.
