thinsections,posters,maps,booksandkeyresearchliterature• DVDsofvolcaniceruptionphenomenaandevents.

RAY CAS (PhD, Macquarie Uni): Emeritus Professor, School of Geosciences, Monash University; VisitingProfessor, CODES, University of Tasmania; Past-President of the International Association for Volcanology(IAVCEI).ExtensiveresearchandconsultingexperienceinPalaeozoicandPrecambrianvolcanicandsedimentarysuccessionsofAustralia(Yilgarn,PilbaraCratons,LachlanFoldBelt),Canada(Abitibi),Britain,Greenland,SouthAfrica,andmodernvolcanic terrains (Andes,Australia, Japan,NewZealand,Canaries,Azores, Italy,Greece),includingVHMS,epithermal,orogenicgold,komatiiteNiSanddiamondkimberlitesystems.Co-authoroftheinternationally acclaimed book:Volcanic Successions:Modern and Ancient (1987), which is currently beingrewritten.
PATRICKHAYMAN (PhD,MonashUni):Lecturer inEconomicGeology,QueenslandUniversityofTechnology,Brisbane.ResearchandexplorationexperienceworkingonyoungvolcanicterranesinAustralia,Italy,Germany,Iceland,JapanandNewZealand,andPrecambriangreenstonebeltsmainlyinAustralia(YilgarnCraton,WesternAustralia),Canada(Ontario,Manitoba,Alberta,NunavutandNorthwestTerritories),andWestAfrica.Pathasextensiveexperienceinkimberlitesanddiamonds,andworkedinVMS,komatiite-hostedNisulphideandgoldsystems.PatrecentlycompletedaresearchfellowshipworkingonalargeindustrycollaborativeprojectintheArchean Yilgarn Craton focussing on a terrane-scale volcano-sedimentary reconstruction. Recent work hasfocussedon theemplacement and formationofAu-mineralisedmafic-ultramafic sills.He is now involved inAMIRAWAXIprojectinWestAfricawithCET,UniversityofWesternAustraliaandMonashUniversity,focusingonPaleo-Proterozoicgreenstoneterranes.
JOZUAvanOTTERLOO(PhD,MonashUni):LecturerinVolcanologyandPetrology,MonashUniversity.Jozuais a volcanologist and field geologist who likes to apply sedimentology, structural geology andgeochemistrytobetterunderstandtheproductsofmagma-waterinteractionandhowcoolingaffectsmagmaticintrusions.HisPhDresearch(MonashUniversity2013)focussedonunderstandingthegreatstratigraphic and compositional complexity of Australia's youngest volcano, Mt Gambier, SouthAustralia. Currently, he researches complex dyke and sill formation from multiple sources usinganaloguelaboratorymodelsofgelatine.HealsoteachesvolcanologyandigneouspetrologyatMonashUniversityandsupervisesstudentresearchprojects.
