WARE IT ISTodd WareSenior Pastor
For the past two weekends we have returned to campus for worship. On June 27-28 we had a Saturday service, 8:30am service on Sunday, and we live streamed the 10:55am service. This past holiday weekend we had a single service at 10:30am. on Sunday. When we gather this coming weekend all three services will meet on campus.
At the present moment our on-line registrations for this weekend’s services are as follows: Saturday 5:30pm - 0
Sunday 8:30am - 13 Sunday 10:55am - 7
I realize many have not yet taken the time to make reservations. July is also a prime time for many of our church family to take vacations. The rise in the number of COVID-19 cases may also be leading more to watch our services online.
As we near the end of this week, we will take a look at our online reservations and adjust our worship schedule for the following weekend (July 18-19) if needed. You can help us in our planning by registering online at the following link on our webpage - https://fbm.churchcenter.com/registrations. You can also call the church office and let us know of your plans (770) 267-5904. Thanks in advance for your help!
FISH4Kids
Especially in a pandemic, kids need to eat! Faith in Serving Humanity is continuing to feed the children of Walton County through the FISH4Kids program, but they have modified their structure for doing so. Instead of preparing sack lunches five days a week, volunteers are needed on Mondays and Thursdays. To learn more about how you can help, visit https://www.fishofwalton.org/book-online. Also, remember you can feed a kid for the summer for only $60.
Love Where You Live
The week of Love Where You Live has been a time of community-building, service, and worship for our students since Gordon brought it to Walton County several years ago. While this year’s Love Where You Live will look a bit different, it will still be an important time of touching others as the body of Christ. It will be held July 19-23 and only costs $25. If you’d like to learn more, reach out to gloria at [email protected]. She’d love to hear from you!

This coming Sunday, July 12, the Sanctuary will be “fogged” with a sanitizing disinfectant immediately after the 8:30 service. This is being done for the safety of those attending the 10:55 service. When you enter the sanctuary for the 10:55 service, there may still be a faint aroma from the fogging, although the fog will have dissipated by then.
