PEOPLES PARTICIPATION:
MAIN PROBLEMS SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PEOPLES PRIORITIES
Wild animals destroys the crops of the villagers in Kandas.
Barbed wire fencing be provided for the private land of villagers in Kandas.
Priority.
There is no Central place for organising Central functions
in the area. Community Centre be made at Labrang for organising the Centraql functions.
Acomodation of Mahilla Mandal & Community Hall is very old and poor conditioned.
The existing accomodation be dismentelled and new be made.
Kandah areas are not linked with the roads. Link road is required from Labrang to Tapang Kanda.
Proper cremotoriums are not held in the area. Cremotorium with rain shed be made at Charing, Tunglang, Nigrang, Tinmochukchang, Kanam & Sunam.
Huge loss is being created by galciers, stone rolling and soil erosion in the area.
All the areas are required to be stablised by making structures.
No sewerage lines/tanks are held in the villages. Cemtral sewerage lines/tanks be made in Labrang, kanam, Karla, Spillo villages.
Medicinal plants are very less in the Kandas. Medicinal plants be provided to villagers for planting in private land.
The footpath from Tapang Kanda to Timcho Lake is very poor.
Maintenance of the path is required.
The condition of Fort at Labrang is very poor as its roof has been broken.
Maintenance of the Fort is required as the same is property of our Country.
Irrigation facilities in the area are very poor. Farm ponds be made at Labrang, Kanam, Karla & spilo for irrigation purposes. Existing irrigation kuhl be repaired. Water of Timcho lake be supplied to the villages by diversion through tunnel to opposite side. Top Priority.
Crossing over the nalas is very tough. Foot bridges be made on Horning Nala, Kanam Nala near Senior secondary school for crossing of men and livestock.
