How do I apply?To get registrated, please contact Voksenopplæringen, phone no 979 90 861, or the Service torg, phone number 51 41 41 00. You have to make a personal appearance. You cannot be registrated by phone or mail.

What do I have to bring with me · Your passport with a valid residance permit· A TBC/pirquet test. If you are from western Europe, North America, New Zealand, Polen, Japan or Slavakia, you do not need this· An applicatian for tuition in Norwegian. Free tuition? Adult immigrants with a residence permit that forms the basis for a settlement permit have a right and an obligation to complete 300 hours of tuition in the Norwegian language and social studies. Randaberg municial authorities are responsible for the provition of this tuition for those who live in Randaberg. Immigrants may be given a further 2700 hours of tuition if necessary. There is, however, no obligation to complete more than 300 hours.

When do I start?As soon as you have been registrated, you will be asked to meet one of our teachers to find out how your Norwegian is, and you will be offered a place in one of our courses. The first 300 hours of tuition will be given at Johannes learning centre. Both day and evening classes will be possible.

Following up courses are given in Randaberg, from 300 – 2700 hours, in morning classes, from 900 – 1130 am.
