All That singing their best Message of Light and Hope Young St. Lucia lighting the way St Lucia’s Day marks the dawning of Christmas and in countries like Sweden it is a day for joyful celebrations. Mount Lavinia Hotel believe traditions as such, need to be celebrated and exalted. Going by rich historic traditions, MLH celebrated St. Lucia’s Day on December 13 at the courtyard, with the objective of spreading light and hope throughout this merry magical season. Much acclaimed choirs - Voice Print, Choro Calibre and All That, added more light to the evening as the crowd enjoyed their melodious tunes. The procession with a girl dressed as St. Lucia with a wreath of candles on her head illuminated the celebration. The crowd too had lit candles in their hands signifying the historic tradition. Saf- fron bread and Swedish mulled wine were much appreciated by the crowd as the joy of celebration spread gracefully in the courtyard.
