The Inther LC Voice system comes with the revolutionary SIR speech recognition. SIR stands for Speaker Independent Recognition and does not require any individual speech training, thus omitting valuable operator time. SIR is available in various languages: English (US, UK), Spanish, German, French (Canada, France), Italian, Polish, Dutch, etc. The operators can simply put on a headset and the system will recognize his or her voice. Besides SIR the conventional SDR is also available. SDR requires an initial speech training of the operator and is used for difficult languages or heavy accents. The SDR and SIR system can be used parallel and independent from each other in one system.

Hands and eyes freePaper based order picking is literally ‘old hat’. Where operators used to read the pick instructions of a paper sheet or RF-terminal, all necessary information is now given by a natural friendly voice. The operator confirms everything by simply talking into the microphone telling the system which actions have just been performed. This makes the Inther voice solution well accepted by the operators.

An open systemThe Inther Pick By Voice system has a natural voice for speech output, as opposed to the mechanical computerized voice used by other systems. This ensures a pleasant work atmosphere, especially when the worker uses the voice system for long periods.

It is therefore hardware independent and can use any mobile device that is based on the latest Windows CE or Windows Mobile standards.
