as one of the largest chambers in atlantic Canada, the Greater Charlottetown area Chamber of Commerce is proud to serve as the voice of business locally, regionally and nationally for close to 1,000 members. the strength and diversity of our business community is impressive. our membership is comprised of businesses from over 15 different sectors, ranging in size from one to over 500 employees.

with many positive economic indicators being felt in the Island economy over the past number of years, the Chamber also saw growth in programs, activities and member participation.

• Almost 200 new businesses joined the Chamber in 2017

• Member satisfaction grew with more than 84% of members indicating they are satisfied or very satisfied with their membership

• Businesses continued to find substantial value in a Chamber membership with more than 80% of business owners renewing their membership

• We hosted more than 70 events attended by 7,400 greater Charlottetown area business professionals

• Volunteer engagement is the lifeblood of the Chamber. In 2017 there were more than 200 people volunteering in a variety of roles from policy committee to networking ambassadors

Your support for the Chamber and the work we do has been unwavering for the past 134 years. we work hard to deliver on a promise to you, our membership, and that is to promote a growing and vibrant business community in the greater Charlottetown area.
