The voice alarm system E100 sets a new standard for meeting thischallenge. Its innovative safety functions allow an orderly and safeevacuation, even from multi-story buildings or buildings coveringextensive areas and with large numbers of occupants. What’s more,E100 already fullls all requirements of the new standard EN 54-16*.

First, people in the immediate dangerzone are instructed to leave the build-ing, following the signed escape routes.The adjacent zones are then graduallyevacuated until all occupants from theendangered areas are safe. That preventsescape routes from becoming overcrowd-ed, which – in combination with reassur-ing announcements – prevents panic.

A phased evacuation reduces crowding of escape routes and stairways, prevents panic and restrictsevacuation to the extent necessary.

Its end-to-end networkability allows for all kinds ofcongurations – for use as a stand-alonesystem, in a small network or large net-work. Up to 32 voice alarm control andindicating equipment can be networkedtogether over a total distance of up to10,000 m.

Each control unit provides connectionsfor up to 24 ampliers and 10 deskmount microphones as well as a large

number of speakers, microphones, strobelights etc. The system is controlled viathe master control unit’s operator panel.

Thanks to its high degree of system ex-ibility and modular design, E100 protectsyour investment over the long term. Thesystem is able to grow with your require-ments; if your needs change, it canalways be adapted and expanded atminimal costs.
