• Definition: Self-confident in a difficult situation• Synonym: balance• Antonym: Gaucheness• I was aplomb, as I shot the winning shot in the
basketball game.
Apprehensive(adjective)
• Definition: anxious or fearful; uneasy• Synonym: afraid• Antonym: calm• I was apprehensive to enter the dilapidated
house. After a few minutes I got rid of my fear.
Fragrance(noun)
• Definition: a sweet or pleasant odor; a scent• Synonym: aroma• Antonym: stench• A pleasant fragrance emanated from the
