Bone

Hard tissue that makes up the

Provides structure, support, and

protection

Made of a solid network of

living cells, protein fibers, and

calcium

Bones come in many shapes

and sizes!

Place where one bone attaches to another bone

Joints allow bones to move without damaging each other

Joints can be fully moveable, slightly moveable, or immovable.

Many joints are held together by ligaments
