1. Contemptuous: disdainful, insulting, scornful and disrespectful.
2. Superfluous: excess, extra, redundant, spare, supererogatory, supernumerary, surplus unnecessary, unneeded, otiose, pointless, purposeless, senseless, wasted and worthless.
3. Deluge: fill or cover completely, usually with water, inundate, submerge and flood.
4. Perplexed: confused, bewildered, baffled, puzzled, dazed, befuddled, disconcerted, panicky, confounded, mystified, bemused, disoriented, nonplussed, bamboozled, flummoxed, muddled and stumped.
