• 1. Monsoon - a seasonal wind in southern Asia; blows from the southwest (bringing rain) in summer and from the northeast in winter

2. Renewable resources – any natural resource that can be replenished naturally• trees, food

crops/agricultural Water, or hydropower, wind.

3. Non-Renewable resources – natural resource that cannot be replaced if used up

4. Tsunami - is a huge wave or water wall that can cause massive amounts of

damage

5. Ring of Fire - belt of volcanoes & frequent seismic activity nearly encircling

the Pacific Ocean

6. Monumental architecture - refers to large man-made structures of stone or

earth

7. Censorship - deleting parts of publications or correspondence or theatrical performances.

8. Limited Government – type of government where, through law, some control is placed on

leadership’s power

9. Human Rights - the rights which some hold to be inalienable and belonging to all

humans

10. Unlimited Government – government in which leaders rule without any

restrictions
