In Brief Vivansa (www.vivansa.com) is a professional IT company delivering end-to-end integrated services to its Customers.

Vivansa has developed a strong competence in the field of e-

Customs through its participation to large-scale projects launched by the European Commission (e.g. EMCS, CCN/CSI, CUST-DEV2) in partnership with leading actors of the IT

market. Vivansa has gained the confidence of the involved stakeholders (European Commission, national Customs

authorities, Economic Operators) with respect to a shared vision for providing e-Customs solutions as well as trusted service provider.

Vivansa places innovation at the heart of its development

strategy and has demonstrated its ability to deliver turn-key business solutions that directly satisfy the customer’s need in vertical markets (e.g. XSIZETM business solution for EMCS,

LXR.CCNTM multi-application connector for CCN/CSI, ELLiXXiRTM e-Customs Community Initiative).

Since its establishment in 2001, Vivansa has a constant growth of 31% GMCA and annual revenue of €1.1M in FY2009. About

30% of the revenue base is recurring, deriving from the upgrade and maintenance of turn-key solutions as well as sub-

contracting activities to major IT companies. The company employs 15 people mainly located at its

headquarter in Brussels-Wavre, Belgium, and has opened in 2008 a subsidiary in Moscow, Russia.

The potential for Vivansa’s growth is based on:

• Our unique combination of both IT and business expertises in the field of e-Customs (in particular trans-

European reforms implementation following MASP orientations)

• Our ability to deliver turn-key business solutions for e-Customs.

• Our knowledge of national Customs authorities

environments.

Today, Vivansa’s reputation and quality results are acknowledged by all actors of the e-Customs domain.

Our Services Vivansa services offering is organised around three types of service delivery:

Transformation Services make use of a large

spectrum of disciplines (covering organisation, methods, application, and infrastructure levels) and SOA standards (e.g. TOGAF, OSIMM) that

your Organisation can benefit from to increase its agility and stay ahead of the competition.

Operation Services aim at handling your Organisation's everyday operations with a level

of care, innovation and attention to detail that go well beyond the routine and also at ensuring

the corrective and evolutive maintenance of our turn-key solutions (e.g. XSIZE, LXR.CCN, LXR.XEOS, etc.).

Security services provide a comprehensive

approach to Security Domain Modelling, Risk Management, and Business Continuity Planning and related tooling to help your Organisation

addressing the dilemma of opening-up its Information Technology systems to boost its

performance in a constantly changing environment, and at the same time, exposing itself to increasingly complex and numerous

security risks.

This services offering is supported by:

• Business partnerships with IT companies playing a

leading role on the IT market, and technology alliances;

• A strong focus on quality and adherence to methodology

and standards (e.g. ITIL, TOGAF, ISO9001:2008),

underpinned by an internal framework, called VITAL

(Vivansa Information Technology Active Library);

• Research & Development activities (e.g. Excise

Validation Center).

Our Values

The Company and its people operate according to a set of corporate values. These living values are strongly linked to our story and identity. These values are:

• Always innovate.

The Information Technology area is a warp-speed changing world! Consequently, the only way to stay in the running is to keep one step ahead of the

competition. For us, this means being at the cutting edge of technology, staying vigilant, discovering new

applications, expanding our skills base, foreseeing trends, focusing on those that will make the difference.

• Stay pragmatic. Technology is abundant, trends come and go. What's in

it for you? We advise on the best solutions for your situation - not ours. The key is objectivity, flexibility and pragmatism – Simply because you need results.

• Be free. We made the choice of being independent from any

software editor or hardware manufacturer in order to work with you in full transparency and objectivity. That

choice is characterised by our commitment to the Open Source Software (OSS) community since

the establishment of the company.

• People make projects. Each project is carried out with an extreme attention to the small details that make a big difference at the end. This approach is only possible because of the high

quality of our staff and its strong commitment into the project realisation.
