What is C-Salts? C-Salts is a Vitamin C & Mineral Supplement in the form of an effervescent oral powder. Contains no sodium.

Why take C-Salts? A healthy human body should contain several grams of Vitamin C. The body’s normal functions require significant amounts of Vitamin C on a daily basis. This Vitamin C is even more quickly depleted if the body is under stress, diseased or in a toxic state. Our own bodies are unable to produce Vitamin C because we lack an enzyme called L-gulonolactone oxidase. So the only mechanism we have for obtaining Vitamin C is through the diet or in a supplement form. It is difficult to obtain high levels in the diet, hence this convenient high dose Vitamin C effervescent powder supplement – C-Salts.

• C-Salts is low in acidity hence it is gentle on the stomach and also pleasant tasting.

• C-Salts is a cost effective way of getting high doses of Vitamin C with the added bonus of four essential minerals.

There are NO sugars, flavours, or colours of any sort. In fact, there are NO excipients whatsoever... You get just what’s on the label and it’s Sodium free!

It takes just a few seconds to mix up a C-Salts drink which is a convenient and pleasant megadose source of Vitamin C. In addition, over 94% of the ascorbic acid’s acidity is neutralised by the effervescent reaction, resulting in a drink similar to mineral water.

Directions for use Add one level measure (measure enclosed) of C-Salts powder to approximately 1/3 glass of water or juice. Swirl or stir mixture and allow to freely effervesce – C-Salts is normally cloudy. You may add more water or juice if you like, but only after the bubbling subsides.

Do not put a wet spoon or measure in the container. This will result in deterioration of the product. Reseal container immediately after use.

The adult dose is one level measure twice daily, or as directed by your physician. Under medical supervision, more may be consumed. This is best done in divided doses, with or after meals throughout the day.

Note It is imperative to understand that with each measure you will be getting almost 1.4 grams (1340 milligrams) of Vitamin C. Most people can handle this amount in one dose, but some who are unaccustomed to large doses may get diarrhoea and/or gas with as little as 1 gram. With the recommended dose, side effects are uncommon. However, if they do occur try taking smaller amounts. Additionally it will help to take C-Salts with or after a meal.

This is not a suitable dose form for children. Vitamins can only be of assistance if dietary intake is inadequate. Always read the label. Use only as directed.

Storage Conditions • Store below 30˚C. Protect from moisture. Do not

refrigerate. • Important: Always replace the cap tightly

immediately after use as C-Salts quickly absorbs water from the air.

• Effervescent forms of Vitamin C are very moisture sensitive, so DO NOT put damp spoons into the container! DO NOT allow water to splash into the cap or container.

Inappropriate storage conditions will result in a yellow discolouration and breakdown of the product.

Pack Sizes • 200 grams• 400 grams Each 200g container contains 114 doses using the enclosed measure. Thus for one person taking two measures per day this container will last approximately two months!
