It says you’re in control.
It shows confidence.
It engages the audience.
For some reason we forget the power of silence in our slides, although it serves the same purpose.
Here are f ive examples of visual si lence.

However everyone can have this concept in mind when preparing their slides.

Do you need all those points in your slide?
At the end of the day you want your audience to leave the presentation with a key message in mind.
