Official instrument: Wave Scan Dual By applying mathematical filter functions the structure spectrum is

obtained.

Dullness (du): Structures <0.1 mm

Wa: Structures from 0.1-0.3 mm

Wb: Structures from 0.3-1 mm

Wc: Structures from 1-3 mm

Wd: Structures from 3-10 mm

We: Structures from 10-30 mm

All vehicles are measured according to specific control plan

FGA scale: LW (structures from 1.2 – 12 mm)

CG scale: R (80% of correlation is based on LW)
