Guarding the royal honour:Patriotic Denmark
• Here in Denmark we find that the people are really serious about their traditions, especially when it involves the royal customs.
• Anekdote: angry soldier with big gun guarding the royal treasure.
Snowy roses… even Iñaki is being romantic about it!
• The parc was really beautiful, and it´s well cared for.•The parc is very big, you could see that it was made for the king: Christian IV.•The love for the monarchy is reflected in the beauty of the gardenscenary.
Summerhouse in the winter
• The castle was originally built as a country summerhouse in 1606 and is an example of Christian IV´s many architectural projects.
• It was built in the Dutch Renaissance.
Rundetaarn:Was the king in a wheelchair?
• Built in request of Christian IV.•It was the first astronomical observatory centre.•There are no stairs, the king went all the way to the top with his horse.•Same architect as Rosenborg castle.
