• Venus has a very cloudy atmosphere.
• It is made of rock. and 96% CO2.
• It has volcanoes that are active pancake domes and craters.

• Did you know that Venus is Roman for Aphrodite the Roman Goddess of Love and Beauty?
• Scientists discovered that the Mayan were afraid of Venus because they thought it brought bad news.

• Only probes have been to Venus.
• The closest they have been to Venus was 16 miles from the surface.
• The probes that have visited Venus are Mariner 2, Venera 4, Venera 7, Venera 13,and Venera 14.

• We, as scientists have discovered that humans can’t live on Venus because it’s WAY too hot!
