Rope Access

Rope Access Technique (RAT) is a safe method of working at height where ropes and associated equipment are used to gain access to and from the work place, and to be supported there. Rope Access Technique give more cost-effective way of working at height. The advantage of using rope access methods mainly lies in the safety and speed with which workers can get to or from difficult locations and then carry out their work, often with minimal impact on other operations and the nearby area. The primary objective when using rope access methods is to plan, manage and carry out the work with minimal accidents, incidents or dangerous occurrences, i.e. to ensure a safe system of work is maintained at all times, and with no damage to property or harm to the environment. Double Waves Indonesia has a pool of experienced and skilled specialist, who has all undertaken work in the On and Offshore Oil & Gas Industry. Under Water Inspection

We understand that the underwater environment can be particularly harsh on any material, give an unique challenges to inspectors who must evaluate material condition. Double Waves Indonesia offers comprehensive underwater inspection services for facilities located in, near or in contact with water (like piers, water tanks, bridges, subsea pipelines, offshore and any coastal structures). Our team will identify the object through referrals from clients, inspect the object, collect the necessary information, to evaluate and give repair recommendation if necessary. DROPS Survey

Based on DROPS data, Dropped Objects continue to account for the majority of actual and potentially fatal incidents in the upstream oil and gas industry. In fact, dropped objects (also known as falling items and material fall) are among the Top 3 Causes of death and serious injury across many industrial sectors. The same statistics apply to leisure activities and home life too. Dropped Object Prevention Scheme Inspections are a key element of dropped object control and prevention. This survey is to be regularly conduct dropped object inspections as part of routine maintenance and operational activities. These surveys provide added assurances that all potential dropped object hazards are identified, assessed and recorded such that control measures and corrective actions can be recommended and implemented within the owner's Asset's Management System Approach Focus on the underlying causes, identify and assess the hazards and apply appropriate preventive and mitigating controls and barriers. In establishing an effective dropped object management system, facilities, structures, sites and locations are typically separated into manageable areas. Within these areas (e.g. Drilling), major structures may separated further to represent levels, equipment areas and modules. For each area, an inventory should be prepared detailing and uniquely referencing all equipment that is located, stored, held, mounted, secured or used at height. This represents all the potential dropped objects in that area and the inventory may run to hundreds of items, depending on the location.

Lifting Equipment Inspection

When a lifting appliance fails the consequences can be far-reaching. Serious injury and death can occur, not just to personnel but to the general public. When equipment fails, the cost of disrupted operations can also be considerable. Health and safety law therefore places a number of specific obligations on those providing, controlling and using lifting equipment to properly manage these risks In addition to the requirements for safe design and construction, all lifting equipment should also be checked and maintained as necessary to keep it safe for use. Various national regulatory schemes require that lifting appliances should be thoroughly examined by a 'competent person' at least once every 12 months. Some legal frameworks may require more frequent examinations, depending on the national authority, the competent person, and whether the equipment is used for lifting personnel.
