An Inspiring Soul…
“Childhood is the unique phase of life when little joys overflow into a cascade of ecstasy, when minds get transported to the world of fantasy, when mind is adorned with bliss of innocence, when energy is immense, when inquisitiveness is soaring , Its time when life unfolds in all its splendor and brilliance.”
Army-The way of life by Jyoti Chauhan
Since my childhood, I was very much fascinated by the armed forces . Their crisp uniform, shining shoes, disciplined life and their confidence always inspired me to join army. During my teenage years, I gave entrance exam for Armed Forces Medical College, unfortunately couldn't crack it. Dream shattered but life went on. One day, while serving a school, on a Republic Day function the chief guest, a retired colonel, changed my thoughts about army. He said that army is not only about holding gun and fighting battles or wearing uniform, but it’s a way of life. Any citizen who is honest enough in paying income tax, who takes care of the surrounding and is dedicated towards the mankind is a soldier in the true sense. As army teaches us the true meaning of dedication. Today I feel proud that I AM A TEACHER because I am laying a strong foundation for the future of my country. I am a dedicated soul. I am a soldier.

The Journey of life When I see the moon, I want to come home soonAnd when I see the sun,I want to have fun. This is only lifeSomewhere we are hero,And somewhere we are zero. If we study,We become intelligent. If we are greedy,We become dependent. If we are caring, we get love But, if we are strict we get the trick.
In this worldSome are hard hearts and some are softThe difference is,Hard hearts can put their friends in a pit,Soft hearts make sure, their friends are fit. We fight for money,But no one in this world wants to be funny. We want to play soccer,.But no one wants to be a joker.

Travelogue by Raghav Sharma V A.N
Pehalgaon – Dreamland on Earth
A peaceful atmosphere , cool breeze , greenery all around, never stopping ice cold water ,what a beautiful dream in the month of June, you are mistaken this is the reality. This summer I got a chance to visit this place with my family and friends. It is around 87 km from Srinagar; we entered in a sketch like beauty, full of rivers, streams and greenery. In Pehalgaon there are several resorts on side of rivers and streams. We stayed in one of them just close to river Lidder. When we stepped in the resort, all my friends along with me rushed towards the tree house present there, we listened tothe sound of flowing water that attracted us towards the nearby river. We took off our shoes and came in our floaters with trousers up. Within five minutes we were enjoying the

the ice cold water by dipping our feet. Earlier we could not with stand even for a full
minute. Later on some resistance developed and we could spend more time in it and
sprinkled water on each other and got clicked photographs. Then we sat on big stones on
the bank of river and looked on the other side of river. A triangular mountain with green
disciplined trees was just like a painting with moving mules. To touch this eye catching
beauty I wanted to go that side but it
started drizzling so we moved back and
enjoyed delicious snacks. There are many
valleys in I could get a chance to go to two of
them, out of them one was named after
Hindi movie Betab as Betab valley. A big
green land surrounded by a river and
mountains. The other one was at a great

height and we could see huge chunks of ice on both the sides of road with a glimpse of glaciers at a distance, we came to know this is the way to Amarnath yatra. This valley is called Chandanwadi and its mountains were covered with ice. To enjoy that one has to wear gum boots and sunglasses, in spite of these things I slipped several times and got sun burn. Ice was reflecting heat of sun and was shining like crystal. I made ice ball, played with that but I felt it is more enjoyable from distance, suddenly one of my friends slipped down hill and got stuck in pointed fence but saved with little injury. With all these cherish able memories Pehalgaon has become my favourite destination.
