How did we arrive at the new vision

• Looked at old vision• Consulted leadership• Consulted whole fellowship• Confirmation through preachers etc

Old Vision Statement

• To be a Church of at least 100 committed people

• To reach those that other Churches cannot reach

• To demonstrate Gods care• To provide a centre to expand the work and

witness of the fellowship• To encourage unity among the Churches

To be a Church of at least 100 Committed people

• Commitment- To Christ- To one another-To the Church- To our community

• Growth- We believe the Church will grow and thrive

To reach those that other Churches cannot reach

• Its about the lonely, vulnerable and isolated• To be an all inclusive church

To demonstrate Gods care

• Broadcasting the love of God.• We have come along way in 25 years• We have along way to go!

To provide a centre to expand the work and witness of the fellowship

• Its done !• Its future is around influence.• And excellence

Encourage unity among the Churches

• We are committed to working with Churches in our town

• We are committed to expanding the gospel to the area.

Building our relationship with God

• To know that we are loved by a Father in heaven

Who• Sent his son Jesus to die for the sins we have

committed and who• Promised and sent us the Holy Spirit to

empower and help us to live for him

Building our relationship with one another

• We will help and encourage one another to achieve our full God given potential

Building relationship with the Church

• We believe that Christ is the head of the Church. We will seek him in prayer for vision and direction

• We believe that when the Church is empowered by the Holy Spirit it will thrive, grow and be filled with life.

• We will be an all inclusive Church, that is open to all and where all feel welcome and loved

• We will be a centre for Christian influence and excellence to our area

• We are committed to build relationship and encourage unity with any Christian Churches in our town and area.

Building relationship with our community

• We love the place in which we live and the people who live here. We are committed to bringing the love of Christ to those around us.

• We will present the good news of Jesus in a way that can be understood and related to by those outside of the Church.

• The vision statement is about where we are going not where we are at.
