AWARDS

PROPERTY DEVELOPMENTAWARDS FOR INNOVATIVEEXCELLENCEA Quest for Innovative Excellence World-class architectural innovation is not an anomaly in South Africa. The SAPOA Property Development Awards for Innovative Excellence recognise and applaud property professionals who undertake massive projects that result in globally competitive property developments.

It is evident that the negative legacy created by dilapidating buildings in the cities is fast being shadowed by innovative, conversant refurbishments that encourage community participation, urban regeneration and sustainable design.

The prestigious SAPOA Property Development Awards for Innovative Excellence programme ensures that outstanding, ecient buildings are evaluated against interna-tional standards and are further placed at the pinnacle of property excellence. The gratica-tion of the programme is that it encourages owners, designers and managers to continu-ously strive to meet and surpass some of the world’s leading property developments, through peer engagement and consistent participation in global industry conversations.

PROPERTY JOURNALISMAWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE

Through its Property Journalism Awards, SAPOA aims to encourage quality coverage of the property industry in the media and acknowledge journalistic and media achievements pertaining to the property industry. Not only do the SAPOA Property Journalism Awards recognise South African property journalists who have made a signicant contribution to the commercial and industrial property market, but they also acknowledge that property journalism is, in itself, a highly specialised eld of journalism.
