Have graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a University established by an Act ofParliament or by a State Legislature or an equivalent national institution recognised as a Deemedto be University or Foreign University recognised as equivalent to the status of an IndianUniversity by an authority competent to declare equivalence, may apply for three year degreecourse in law leading to the conferment of LL.B. degree on successful completion of the regularprogramme conducted under these Regulations.

Have secured marks, which shall not be below 45% (44.5% and above shall be treated as 45%) oftotal marks in case of general category applicants and 40% of total marks in case of SC and STapplicants.

The two years Distance Learning Master of Laws (LL.M.) conducted by The Global OpenUniversity, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of expertsin the �elds of jurisprudence, constitutional history, paralegal services, right to information andspecialised laws for women and children, human rights, arbitration, criminology, torts, labour,banking, environment, companies, families, IPR etc.

This course with duration of 2 years will qualify a person to work in anymechanical workshop, and pursue his career in maintenance, shipping, oil rigs,chemical industries and fabrication work.
