WORKSHOP ON EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS
Workshop on Employability skills was conducted on 14 th September, 2016, in
college auditorium by an eminent trainer, Shri. Suresh P Rao, trainer, Attitude
learning institute.
The workshop was conducted for the 2nd and 3 rd year E & C Students.
The resource person gave an insight on Graduate Employability Skills and Attitude
Development.
The session was an interactive
session and the students participated
enthusiastically.
Inspirational video clips was
shown along with the PPT
presentation to
motivate the students.
PARENTS MEET-2016-17
Our E & C Department had organized a Parents Meeting on Saturday, 10 th Sept,
2016 in College Auditorium hall at 11 am.
The Parents Meet was conducted for,
Creating a common platform where teachers and parents come together to
enrich the departments and students educational activities and discuss other
issues regarding all round development of the students.

Report of Alumni meet
The alumni meet of Electronics & communications department for the year
2017 was held on 07th January 2017 in the institute premises. All the teaching staffs
of department and alumni were invited to attend alumni meet. The meet also attended
by the students enrolled in the current year. The registration of alumna was done on
the same day of the event.
The meet was Presided over by our beloved principal of the institute Smt Geeta
M, Alumni association co-ordinator Smt Sushma Pawar, head of the department of
E&C Mr Anand Khanapure, and other faculties.
The programme began with traditional lighting of lamps and then alumni were
welcomed to the occasion. Hod of E&C department Mr Anand Khanapure explained
to the august gathering the significance and need of the alumni meet for the growth as
well as the scope of improvement of the institution in and the individuals. Principal of
government polytechnic for women Smt Geeta M spoke about the achievements and
developments in the institute.
A total of 30 alumni attended the
meet. Few of the alumna shared their
views and experiences.
Smt. Akkamahadevi Sambrani, now
working as an Instructor in E & C Dept,
BVBCET, an 1985 passed out student of
our college, shared her experience and
said that presently Institute is recognised
through out the state by its continuous
development and improvement.
Some of them spoke about their
student life in the institute how
they were able to enjoy their
student life, how it has helped
them to improve their value of
life.
Few were very specific
about how the institute has
helped them to shape their
foundation of professional
carrier.
The meeting was welcomed by smt Rekha.B. Vote of thanks delivered by Smt
Suma D.B with an inspirational quote, “ Connect today, Transform Tomorrow”.
Entire function was narrated by Smt Mamatha C.S. The meet concluded with
snacks and tea.
TECHNICAL TALK ON VLSI AND SCADA
Technical Talk on VLSI Design and SCADA was held on Oct 18, 2016 and
Oct 19, 2016 for the 2nd and 3rd year E & C Students. Shri. Mahesh, Trainer,
LIVWIRE, Bangalore delivered a very informative lecture on the VLSI and
SCADA.
Smt. Maheshwari, Technical Trainer, LIVWIRE, Bangalore, spoke about
the job opportunities in the Electronics field.
HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM
Health awareness program was conducted on 20th September, 2016 to
provide the awareness about the health and hygiene, by Dr. Mamatha.Patil
(Gynaecologist), M.D, Moon Maternity, Hubli.
