One of the four premier Sanskrit Research Institutions of India that has been accorded the recognition of Shodha Sansthan or Centre for Excellence in Sanskrit Research by the Govt. of India

Affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University as a Research Centre. Thus students can do their PhD in Sanskrit and allied subjects.

Developing a software for Natural Language Processing (NLP) in collaboration with University of Hyderabad and International Institute of Information Technology based on Paniniyan Principles of Sanskrit Grammar

CIF protects traditional Palm leaves and other manuscripts by digitalizing and deciphering them. There are about 3000 such manuscripts on various branches of Traditional Knowledge.
