Dear Sir/Madam,
VAP (VISHWA AYURVEDA PARISHAD) an organizationdedicated for the development of Ayurveda, with theview to make it an evidence based sustainable andeffective system of Medicine for the protection andcatering the Health needs of our Nation, “ the Bharat” ,thus giving it the past glory and patronization. You willbe happy to note that the National Executive Committeemeeting of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad central committeeis going to be held in the month of February 2017. Thecentral committee has chosen Tirupathi as its venue andthe dates are fixed as 12 and 13 of February 2017.
In this connection the A.P. chapter of the VishwaAyurveda Parishad has decided to conduct a Seminar on“ AYURVEDA FOR PRIMARY HEALTH CARE NEEDS IN RURALINDIA” & “ AYURVEDIC DOCTORS CONVENTION” onFebruary 12 and 13 2017. The meeting and seminarwill be conducted at Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh.
Bharath, the land of spiritual bliss is stronglybelieved to be pervaded by the lords, their deep imprintsand a sense of divine presence, eternally available in theenvironment of Tirupathi.
Tirupathi is a Spiritual Capital in the southern partof India belonging to the state of Andhra Pradesh, theAbode of Lord Venkateshwara and his concert GoddessPadmavathi. The Spiritual and religious fervor andatmosphere always prevail in this world famous Templecity. It is the place of Pouranic importance and mentionedin many religious scripts as Srisaila and Sesha-chala etc.,the presiding deity Sri Venkateshwara swamy also knownas “ LORD BALAJI” , worshiped in the temple sits atop one ofthe seven peaks of Tirumala hills, attracting billions ofHindu pilgrims round the year. In the recent past theTemple administration has been brought under the TrustBoard with members from different walks of life and withthe Chief Executive officer from IAS cadre. Probably this isthe world famous temple where largest number ofpiligrims congregates every day.
Tirupathi is a fast developing smart city hostingnot only the different temples in and around, it is the seatof Education and found to have many world famousinstitutions of higher learning's and gathering the shape ofthe Education Hub of the south India. There are six regularUniversities situated in the temple town of Tirupathi. Thefabulous and pioneer University the Sri VenkateshwaraUniversity, Padmavathi Mahila University an uniqueuniversity exclusive for women, S.V. Veterinary University,S.V. Vedic University, SVIMS Medical University, RashtriyaSanskrit Vidyapeeth, a deemed University are the jewelsin the crown of Tirupathi . Besides these all Indian Instituteslike the IIT and IISER are also founded in this holy andancient city.
Tirupati is well connected by Road and Railwaysand has an International airport with connectivity to majorcities. Chennai is only 140 Km away from Tirupathi andBanglore City is 240 km from Tirupathi. Other known touristand piligrimage centers are Srikalahasti, Sri Kanipakam,Golden temple at Vellore and the Horsley hills within itsvicinity.

The T.T.D., the Tirumala Temple trust has establishedthe S.V. Ayurvedic College in 1983 and running theinstitutions on full fledged standards to meet the norms ofCentral Govt. The 230 bedded hospital attracts largenumber of crowd who get relief from their aliments. TheS.V. Ayurvedic College is a model institution and hascredited with many appreciations and declared asmodel college. It is running under the policy of the T.T.D.and Govt. of A.P. to uplift and popularise the vedic andancient knowledge and wisdom for the betterment ofpresent day society with full satisfaction and free of cost.

Thoughthe enormous development seen in the modern healthcare systems the hurdles like the adverse effects ofallopathic medicines and cost effect of the medicineshas generated the thrust area among the scientists to getattracted towards the natural systems of medicinesAyurveda.
· To motivate the state and union governments for theexpansion and growth of Ayurveda.
· To Document and Publish Ayurvedic literature,collection of Ayurvedic manuscripts from resourcepersons and implementation of the publications.
· To establish Ayurveda in the world as the foremostmeasure for obtaining individual health.
This National Executive meeting of VAP (VISHWAAYURVEDA PARISHAD) is proposed to conduct in theauspicious abode of Lord Balaji, at S.V.Ayurvedic collegeand the A.P. chapter of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad will bedelighted to be the host. The VAP in Andhra Pradesh camein to existence 2 years back.
It is proposed to conduct a National Seminar andAyurvedic Doctors convention which are planned to behosted on this occasion of National Executive committeemeeting during 12 and 13 of February 2017.
All the Ayurvedic physicians and surgeons arewelcomed to participate in this mega event ofAyurveda where the delegates of the states of A.P.,Telangana, Tamilnadu, Kerala , Karnataka, Goa andfrom various other parts of the country are expected toattend this event and participate in the programe.
The two days of scientific and fraternity deliberationswill take place in the congenial atmosphere besides theannual Executive body meeting of central committeeof VAP.

Abstracts are invited for oral/poster presentation fromindividuals, groups and organizations. The abstractsshould be typed in TIMES NEW ROMAN of 12 points in 1.5lines spacing carrying Title in capital bold, followed by theauthor name affiliation, postal address and e-mail id ofcorresponding author.
