HOW TO APPLY FOR ONLINE NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION (DS-160)

Step 3: Complete the Visa Application online at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/. Remember to write down your Application ID (displayed on the top right-

Once you complete filling the forms, you will be asked to review the information you submitted. After which you will need to confirm the form

When you are finished, please ensure you print:o the Confirmation Slip to bring with you for the interviewo the Application Form – for your reference. Bring along this to your

interview session.

Step 4: Go to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/my/my-niv-appointmentschedule.asp to make an appointment for an interview at the Embassy, or call 03-23023988. (You must wait at least 4 hours after paying the fee). You will need your Visa Application ID and Bank Draft Unique ID (8

digit numbers starting with 100) For the online application, you will need to first register yourself. The

system will ask for your passport details When making an appointment, you will also need to choose where you

want your passport to be sent if your visa is approved (home or office). Make sure there’s someone to receive the passport at the address given. You can also opt to pick up your passport

Step 5: Come to the Embassy for your interview on the appointed day. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. You must bring along your:

o the Visa Application Form, o Visa Application Confirmation slip, o Appointment Confirmation slip, o your passport.o Alstom’s invitation lettero Malakoff company guarantee lettero Other supporting documents

Step 6: Passports with visas will be returned to you at your home or office at no extra cost, or you may opt to pick them up at one of several service centers around Malaysia. You will specify the method and address when you make your appointment (Step 4). – Boustead will collect the visa for us.
