Simulation based engineering is a very efficient approach to development cost reduction, notably limiting the experimental campaign size and the hard prototype number necessary to design a powertrain. Being present in both worlds, virtual and experimental, D2T offers an appropriate environment to take full advantage of the simulation-based approach during a powertrain industrial development cycle.
