Providers and Membership

Providers we use often are CILC, Connect2Texas, and Vanderbilt. Only CILC requires a

membership. You can sign up for program emails with Connect2Texas

(http://www.connect2texas.net/listserv.htm) and Vanderbilt ([email protected])

To sign up for an account with CICL, click here.

Here are the preferences I signed up for:

To request a program, you’ll need to get a PIN. The PIN is a FREE service from CILC. Whoever is responsible

for requesting programs and tracking program requests will need a PIN. Often that person is also responsible

for making sure that program requests stay within an allotted budget. Thus, most organizations have one PIN

for the one person making program requests. Larger schools districts sometimes designate one person at

each building to make program requests for just that building. In that case each of those persons would have

their own PIN, thus multiple PINs for the district. For additional questions or assistance contact Website

Assistance at 866-302-CILC (2452).

Follow these steps:

Log onto www.cilc.org.

Click on the Member Services button. Click on the last bulleted item, Organizational Registration (PIN) If your site is new to CILC.org, click on get your PIN now.

GHS and CFT are already set up. If you already have an account, you can still request a PIN and modify your

profile at any time.

Your equipment is IP, and your IP addresses are as follows:

Take Cover off

Plug in the unit

In drawer in the front, you'll get the blue internet cable and plug in.

There's a cable for your computer too.

Lift camera up. The remote sensor is on the projector side of the camera, so you'll need to be behind the camera and projector for the remote to work.

Remote instructions are below

If you want to record a lesson directly to our content server, dial 2 or scroll to Content Server in My contacts. It will then record the sound and what the camera sees.

Calls are made to IP addresses. We've already got all of the GCSchools' units entered in My Contacts.

Additionally at GHS, Crystal, Pat, John, Johnny, Barbara and I have software on our computers which will act as Tandberg units, so if the mobile cart is being used, ask one of us to switch computers with

you for the day.
