Environmental Legislation: GHG Permit Objective No. 6: Gas Constituents & Air Intake filters differential pressure. Objective No.6 Target Action Due Date Resp. Status Assess the constituents of the Gas for major variations

6.1 Bord Gais Gas data results should be monitored by using graph functions.

(a) Monthly monitoring of gas data for major discretions (b) Graphing and reporting on the constituents of the gas should ensure that plant is running at maximum efficiency by highlighting irregularities in the gas burn / humming effects

Ongoing D Geraghty Open – Monthly

Graph the efficiency of the Air Filters at the Air Intake Area

6.2 In order to improve the efficiency of the unit and therefore increase the power output compared to emissions.

(a) Monthly graphing of the efficiency of the Air Filters in the Air Intake Area. If the differential pressure between the filters increases then the efficiency of the compressor could be compromised due to dirt entering in the air. This study should ensure that any issues are picked up before they have a detrimental effect.
