Phi ladelphia Art ist Joe Barker to Paint Drexel Basketbal l Game!

Men’s Hoops Ranked 107th, Women 124th in Nation! ____________________________________________________________________

Joe Barker , Boathouse Row In Vivo Paint ing of Drexel Hoops Game – Joe Barker, a Philadelphia fixture in the art community, will paint the Drexel v Hofstra men’s basketball game on 1/14 at 7:00 pm live from the VIP suite. Renowned watercolorist and personality, Barker has painted the Philadelphia landscape for twenty years. Joe’s work adorns not only the major law firms and businesses in town, but also every room in the Rittenhouse Hotel on Rittenhouse Square. Best known for his uncanny perspective, Joe’s recreation of Philadelphia landmarks such as the Museum of Art, Logan Circle, Love Park, Rittenhouse Square, Boathouse Row and the Italian Market are most requested. Joe’s work is proudly featured through Drexel alum and season ticket holder, Frank Piller @ Manayunk Design Group, 4327 Main Street, 215.483.2804 (Piller44@aol.com). Dragon Hoops – Drexel men’s basketball is currently ranked 107th in the nation, in part related to a 69th nationally ranked strength-of-schedule. This means that Drexel is still in the mix for a ESPN Bracket Buster TV game. The men are currently ranked 11th in the RPI rankings of Bracket Buster home teams and the top 14 teams are rewarded with an ESPN platform exposure on February 21st. The women hoops

team is ranked 124th out of 340 teams and have the 65th most difficult strength of schedule.
