CONCEPT I’ve decided to showcase Taylor Swift’s new album, “reputation”, which is unarguably the most “grunge” album she has ever produced. Don’t let this album fool you though, it’s actually her softest album yet, her lyrics are honest though the visuals say the complete opposite. This album represents her revival, not the death of the “old taylor”, thus my concept for this album is to convey this soft side while keeping some aspects from her visuals as well, such as her bold type. I’ve also decided to apply mint and mauve duotone to my design to keep up with the trend.

NOTES ON AVICII From what I’ve read and seen on his web, Avicii is a gentle and soft person though most would assume that he has a typical dj’s personality. I also read that he wrote his own songs, he based it on his experiences and I think that says a lot about him, he’s a poetic person, someone who doesn’t like chaos but craves admiration and appreciation, in a good way. So, If I’m going with Avicii, I think I’m gonna have to either go monochrome or turn down the dark tones to reveal his true nature.

Avicii’s website is parallax, simple, but a lot of complex jquery is put to it. I personally think his website is more than good at this current state .

Featured artists included on the album are English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and American rapper Future.

The album has topped the charts in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Reputation sold 1.216 million copies in the US during its first week, becoming 2017’s best-selling album in the country, and 2 million copies worldwide.
