Welcome to Milford Theatre’s first show of the school year, Vintage Hitchcock A Live Radio Play. When my creative team and myself chose this show last March, we had no idea that we really would be doing a Radio Show and not an in-person production. Well, we feel incredibly lucky to have partnered with David Armbruster and iHeart Radio to make this show come to life. In just 9 rehearsals, this cast has discovered the incredible stories of the master of suspense, has come to appreciate how effective great vocals and sound effects can be in storytelling, and have mastered performing in masks. Yes, this full rehearsal and performance was recorded wearing masks. We are learning that we are in a new era of delivering the art we love. As a theatre family we will continue to grow both on and off stage and embrace whatever challenges we are given. Sit Back and Enjoy…….. Murder, mayhem and nostalgia collide in Vintage Hitchcock: A live radio play. A retelling of three of Alfred Hitchcock's most famous stories — The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927) Sabotage (1936) & The 39 Steps (1935) in the style of an old-time radio broadcast brought to life by Milford Theatre. • Welcome to Milford Theatre’s first show of the school year, Vintage Hitchcock A Live Radio Play. When my creative team and myself chose this show last March, we had no

idea that we really would be doing a Radio Show and not an in-person production. Well, we feel incredibly lucky to have partnered with David Armbruster and iHeart Radio to make

this show come to life. In just 9 rehearsals, this cast has discovered the incredible stories of the master of

suspense, has come to appreciate how effective great vocals and sound effects can be in storytelling, and have mastered performing in masks. Yes, this full rehearsal and

performance was recorded wearing masks. We are learning that we are in a new era of delivering the art we love. As a theatre family we will continue to grow both on and off

stage and embrace whatever challenges we are given.

    Sit Back and Enjoy……..

Murder, mayhem and nostalgia collide in Vintage Hitchcock: A live radio play. A retelling of three of Alfred Hitchcock's most famous stories —

The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927)

    Sabotage (1936)

    &

    The 39 Steps (1935)

in the style of an old-time radio broadcast brought to life by Milford Theatre.
