THE 90 PERCENT FACTOR: Other than a few major components, such as engines and appliances, virtually every part of a Viking is designed and manufactured on the premises. Whether it is a fiberglass fuel tank or a wiring harness labeled every eight inches with its function, you can be sure of incomparable quality.

FRONT AND CENTER: New product is the pulse of an engineering-driven company. Viking has the youngest fleet in the marine industry and new models are introduced regularly.

QUALITY CONTROL: With its six production lines, Viking has the capacity to build yachts ranging in length from 42 to 82 feet. WELCOME ABOARDThe expansive salon entered through an electric sliding door is at once opulent and ideal for enjoying every moment at sea. A convenient day head is immediately to port and sculpted hand-made teak furniture with its rounded corners and edges reveals Viking’s attention to detail and its boatbuilding experience. Form and design follow function throughout. There’s fishing rod stowage beneath the leather L-shaped lounge, while opposite a 50-inch television rises on an electric lift from the cabinetry. The granite-topped island in the galley allows passage from both sides, while the bar stools and the dinette accommodate family and guests with ease. Air conditioning

Below, the full-beam master suite abounds with style and substance with diamond-patterned teak doors and concealed hardware. A king-size bed with an upholstered headboard, his and hers maple-lined hanging lockers, and a 40-inch flat screen television envelope you in sheer luxury. Fixed port and starboard portlights add a most pleasing sense of airiness during the daytime, and at night drapes close electrically for privacy.

DANCING WITH THE BILLSA triple-header marlin attack can raise pandemonium but to win tournaments you need to capitalize on every opportunity. The 206 square-foot cockpit with rounded coamings allows you to do just that with unrestricted room to move about easily and to safely stay with your fish until it’s released. The observation mezzanine keeps necessities like a bait freezer, tackle, gear and a step box cooler close at hand but never in the way. The flying bridge overhang protects the mezzanine from sun and spray to keep observers alert and ready. The lower level has drop-in boxes for fish, an available livewell, a transom box, a transom door, under gunwale tag stick and gaff stowage, fresh and raw-water washdown systems, and thirsty scuppers to evacuate deck water quickly. CENTER OF ATTENTIONA blue-water workstation, the center console helm puts the operator in touch with every on-board yacht system. Our proprietary VIPER programmable steering features independent rudder control for uncanny maneuverability with reduced rudder drag at every throttle setting. Buttons in the single lever engine controls operate the hydraulic bow thruster. Navigation electronics stow safely and neatly beneath a raised dash with an acrylic face panel for all-weather use. This superior design also provides for substantial dry stowage beneath the helm. Radio boxes and accessory control panels flank the pod for instant access. A drop-down box in the hardtop accommodates additional electronics, while electric teaser reels operate at the touch of a button above the helm seat. Fishing rods stow beneath port and starboard lounges, and additional seating, as well as a large freezer, are built into the forward area.

TOP OF THE CLASSThe 76 Enclosed Bridge Convertible combines all of the exclusive and superior features of the 76 Open Bridge with a climate-controlled helm station that is reached from the salon, as well as the cockpit. The interior staircase just forward of the day head leads to an impressive salon-like atmosphere with rich teak joinery, an inviting L-shaped lounge and a cocktail table on the raised platform that provides excellent visibility for guests. Opposite is a 32-inch flat screen television, which rises on an electric lift out of hand finished teak cabinetry. Built-in features include a refrigerator with an icemaker, as well as ample stowage. The 76 EB has two helm stations. The main station is forward with a destroyer type wheel, a raised leather covered dash to accommodate electronics and engine controls. An adjustable leather Stidd helm chair is flanked with companion seats atop teak cabinetry with deep-drawer stowage. For docking convenience, a pod-style helm is to port on the aft deck. Additional seating and stowage is located to starboard.
