USE OF CBMS IN IMPROVING LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLANNING
Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Census was first introduced to me in 2005 when I was a PunongBarangay and the President of the Liga ng mga Barangay Municipal Chapter. It is the 1st Round of implementing the Paper-based Census of CBMS in the Province of Marinduque.
Three (3) years later the 2nd Round of the Paper-based Census was again implemented in the whole province. And in 2010, I was given a chance to be elected as Municipal Mayor of my town and from then on, I have used the 2008 CBMS Result as my basis in implementing programs, projects and activities in the community.
