1. What is your favorite fall memory from this year?

2. Thanksgiving is approaching. What menu item is non-negotiable? Which item would you be most willing to

cross off the annual menu?

3. For what are you most thankful this year?

4. When you hear the word, “transformation,” who comes to mind? (Whom do you know that has been

transformed in some way?)

5. Joshua is about to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land in Joshua 1:6-9, after 40 years in the desert. What

does he tell them to do three times? Are you afraid of moving into a new place? Could Joshua’s encouragement

apply to you?

6. Look up 1 Peter 1:18-19. Redeemed means “liberated, ransomed, bought at a price.” As a group, reword this

passage in a way that makes it easily understandable to the group.

7. When you think about being bought at the price of Jesus’ life, how does your perspective change?

8. Read John 14:12. How can we do “greater things” than Jesus?

9. Pastor Ben spoke about becoming a contributor instead of a consumer. Where are you on the spectrum? Where

do you want to be? What is the step you will take right now to move towards that?

10. End your prayer time with Philippians 1:3-6.
