We are a nurturing and open church to all who enter into our Sanctuary. We base our ministry on the Word of God and a caring spirit. Jesus invites us to share our ministry to all that come into our church.

To make Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World

FROM THE PASTORS DESK

Beloved in Christ,

Do you ever have to wait?

I wait for someone to return my call!

I wait in line in the grocery store!

I wait for football season!

I wait for school to start!

I wait for school to end!

I wait for the weekend!

I wait for my food!

I wait in the doctors office!

I wait for the weather to change!

I wait for God to answer me!

Seems like we spend a lot of time waiting.

Have you ever thought about what actually happens in the waiting? Sometimes we can be in such a rush waiting for an event to happen, that we miss what is happening right now. Our desire for the wait to end can sometimes blind us to the many blessings that are before us right now. Many times when we wait we are able to see solutions that could go undiscovered

without the wait .As crazy as it may sound, sometimes when we embrace the wait we see more options.

As we are waiting, let us slow down and open our spiritual eyes and

experience Gods presence in our situation. Let us understand that in those

moments God is waiting with us no matter what the wait. Lets follow the words of the Psalmist where he described the need to; Wait on the Lord.

Yours in Christ,

Ken
