CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL UNITY DAY

A BRIEF REPORT

The vidyalaya celebrated the Birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as Rastriya Ekata Diwas ( National Unity Day) on 31.10.2014. The programme started with garlanding the portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and lighting the lamp by the Principal and other senior teachers of the school. One of the students of class X Ms Gayatri delivered a speech on the life and works of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The members of Integrity club presented a Hindi skit on Corruption. The Moral was to root out corruption from the country for its all-round development. Mr B.D. Verma, PGT Hindi highlighted the importance of unity to strengthen the country. He appealed the students to make the feeling of “Universal Brotherhood” true. The Principal administered the Oath on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering the Principal focused on the contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to make India a united country . Mr Patel tried to merge the provinces. The school conducted a rally in two groups Primary section and Secondary section. The rally emphasized the unity among public through various banners posters and slogans.
