AURORA SAFARIS WEEK PROGRAMME

MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY SANTA CLAUS SAFARI (Also on 24.12.)

The journey begins by snowmobile from Levi bound for Santa’s cabin. On our arrival Santa Claus is ready waiting and memories of meeting him are eternalised with photographs. Then we meet his reindeer and become more acquainted with them during a short sleigh ride. After the ride, we enjoy a warm drink and Christmas pies. When we are ready we set out for the return journey. The journey covers approx. 25km and lasts 2,5 - 3 hours. We start at 10:00.

Price: 310 € / family (2 adults and 1-3 children under 12 years)

MONDAY AND THURSDAY AURORA SAFARI

We journey with you to experience the glow of the Aurora Borealis. We depart, when darkness falls. Out in the wilderness we keep our eyes on the ever-changing skies. If we are lucky we will catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. The safari covers 35km and lasts 2 - 3 hours. During the safari, we serve warm drinks. We arrange aurora safaris on Mondays and Thursdays at 19.00.

Price: 135 € / person (1 person per snowmobile), 105 € / person (2 persons per snowmobile), 75 € / child under 12 years old.

TUESDAY SNOWMOBILE SAFARI IN THE WILDERNESS

The safari begins its journey to Levi’s surroundings by snowmobile. During the safari, we enjoy hot drinks and sweet rolls and then we are ready to return to Levi. The journey covers approx. 30 km, lasting in total 1,5 - 2 hours. We start at 10:00.

Price: 135 € / person (1 person per snowmobile), 105 € / person (2 person per snowmobile), 75 € / child under 12 years old.

FRIDAY VISIT A LOCAL FAMILY

Would you like to know about the way of life in Lapland? We invite you to our home. During a homemade dinner (2 courses) we have time to chat about the Finnish and especially Lappish way of life and share our experiences. Pick up point is in front of Levi Tourist Information. Duration: 2 hours incl. transfer. We start at 18:00.

Price: 60 € / person, 40 € / child under 12 years old.

Snowmobile safari prices include the use of snowmobiles, petrol and clothing, snowmobile-driving instructions on a frozen lake, insurance (personal liability 800 €), a guide throughout the journey and VAT. Changes of number of participants at least 24 hours before the start of the safari. The duration of safari depends on weather, number of participants, driving speed and conditions of tracks. All prices are in Euros. Minimum number of participants is 2 persons. Starting point of safari is Aurora Safaris office Koutaniementie 6.
