What is going on this week in Early Years and Year 1?

Merry Christmas everyone

What a successful trip to the Methodist Church for the ‘The Chiltern School Celebration’ we have had last week. All pupils from year one and older classes enjoyed the trip on the minibus and loved to sing with they parents. They also liked our Christmas Wonderland party with all the lights and music.

Early Years indoor ‘Winter walk’ at school was also very successful. Pupils been explorin a lot of sensory resources and materials by feeling them, smelling and walking on them. We also managed to make a big Winter picture by using our feet. Pupils enjoyed Christmas multi-sensory story and classical Winter music.

We would like to send a Happy Christmas message to all the families and thank everyone for their continued support for Early Years and Year One. It has been a busy and joyful term with all the topic work followed by the Christmas productions. The children and staff all worked their socks off to once again present shows of a very high standard. The Children worked incredibly hard and put on a beautiful Nativity. Thank you to all of the parents for providing such wonderful costumes and supporting their children and Teachers.
