Guest Speaker Policy Any Club or Society wishing to being an external Guest Speaker onto campus must follow the below procedure to ensure the correct process is put in place and notice must be given 4 weeks in advance of said event alongside a completed Risk Assessment. It is important that this process is adhered too, as if it isn’t followed, your Guest Speaker may be turned away from campus on the day of your event. If you have any questions, please speak to your campus relevant Student Opportunities Coordinator. For Cambridge, please contact Dan Fow on Application via the Committee Hub at https://www.angliastud ent.com/societies/runy ourown/booksomething/. Please ensure you include as much information about the speaker as possible as there could be multiple professionals with the same name. A member of the opportunities team will look over your request, it will be filed and a decision will be made. Once a decision has been made, you will be emailed confirmation of this, alongside your room booking details.

Guest Speaker Policy

Any Club or Society wishing to being an external Guest Speaker onto campus must follow the below procedure to ensure the correct process is put in place and notice must be given 4 weeks in advance of said event alongside a completed Risk Assessment.

Meeting organisers or members of staff responsible for taking the accommodation booking must consider whether any proposed meting

The name of the speaker; The name of the organisation arranging the event; The nature of the address; The Precise times for when the speaker will arrive and leave; and The proposed location of the event
